Answer This Killer Mains

I usually do about a 60/40 maybe 70/30 so I consider myself somewhere in the middle, but if we were gonna go on averages, I would probably be considered a survivor main.

I know my own reasoning for what I’m about to ask, but I want to ask the actual killer mains. In matches where things are being chill and everybody is just farming it is very common for the killer to grab their two hooks on everyone and let everyone go and this I understand. But where my question comes in is when the survivor wants to give back to the killer such as I just had a few matches where I wanted to give the killer the kill. They let me get my challenges they let me farm and get some points and I was very appreciative of this so in return I wanted to give them the final hook or Mori, but they refused. Both times that I tried to do this tonight they refused. And this is not just a tonight thing. It’s almost all the time when a killer does play in a chill way they literally just refused to take the kill. Killer mains why is this?

i’m just trying to give back the same respect so I don’t understand why nobody ever wants to take it.

If it gets to the point of "This Ace is pretty cool", we just want to be able to yeet you through the hatch. Some of us have even gotten good at dropping survivors at the exit gate boarder to the point their characters crawl out.

I remember playing against a Nemesis who brought a red morithat we decided to serenade with 3 people using bardic inspiration. After doing a Congo line and goofing off abit, he took his 2 hooks and refused to mori anyone, instead dropping us at the boarder.

Because the culmination of our bonding/farming being a sacrifice / mori just doesn’t feel right. Lol

I gotta let you go to feel satisfied with the ending.

If you chill with a survivor, it's just like I don't want to hurt them? If that makes any sense. It's almost like betraying them even though it's how you are supposed to play.

Some killers just don't feel right doing that in a farming game, but ymmv. I take it as a sort of their final request.

It's not always clear whether or not they'd be cool with you killing them despite you clearly goofing around before. Feels like betrayal and a dick move.

I’ll usually always offer my boon and the kill to a killer if either the game is farming, or if I’m the last person and little or no chance to escape or if sometimes the killer was just really good and definitely deserves the 4K I will usually always offer the kill, but will gratefully accept if they refuse :)

Even though it's from Sea of Thieves, I think this clip from PhuzzyBond sums it up perfectly:

"I need a server with toxic, garbage, dogwater players, so I can sink them all without feeling bad... I can't play like this" 🤣

As someone who plays chill killer, if a survivor is begging to be hooked at the end of the match when the exits are open, they'll get hooked.

Survivors give themselves up in good faith so rarely that it's not something to pass up, would be insultingto them if I did. They give up as a tantrum quite a bit though.

It feels almost wrong. When I am farming with survivors, typically after an early DC, I feel like letting them escape is the consolation for having been gifted a ######### match by their teammate rage quitting. If the survivor insists, I will oblige, but I'd rather they escape.

    EXACTLY!

Plus, it’s so satisfying sticking it to the entity and making it starve.

Edit: In many ways fighting back against the entity is one million times better than fighting the Survivors.

Exactly. You form a deep emotional bond, look into their eyes, get to know the ins and outs about their soul and emotionally prepare to become their best man / bridesmaid. At that point you just can't kill them anymore.

I would gladly take the kill if they offered it, but I really dislike farming, so I don't do it.

Even as survivor; if the killer is just farming I'll do the gens and leave. I don't trust it.

Farming is the most boring thing in this game, so don't expect people to go along with it.
