So, my laptop isn't exactly the smoothest thing in the world, however I've turned down all graphics settings to low and turned my resolution down as much as possible but so that I can still play. And whilst I can get through a couple rounds of playing some survivor games, I crash quite often. Though the game seems to see these disconnects/crashes as me quitting the game - when it's not. This has led to me receiving an increasing amount of penalties. First 5m, then 25m which I just waited for. However this time I've gotten a 6 hour penalty..

Just want to play some DBD honestly and don't know what to do..

    Your laptop may not have the required software running properly to work well enough. if you use steam, add "-dx11" to the games launch options and if that does not help, go to the manufacturers website and make sure all chips are in working order and updated.
