Who are the most tragic Killers and Survivors? Which stories resonate with you? Do any Killers earn your sympathy?

Meg’s story is really sad, I think that much is obvious. There are so many others but I have to give an honorable mention to Gabriel. His origins are just awful.

The Killers’ stories are really sorrowful too. The Spirit’s story is really really heartbreaking. Then there’s the Hillbilly and how horrible he was treated growing up. All of it so tragic.

Which stories stand out to you as particularly depressing?

Meg, Spirit and Sadako. Those 3 comes to mind with sad or horrible backgrounds. I think wraith wasn't a bad guy originally eather, he just got put into crappy situation.

Can't remember all stories but Spirits and Hillybilly are sad, not alone because it's the own family.

When itcomes to tragic, hag's story comes into my mind.

The most disturbing story I made myself, when I was reading the lore from Sally Smithson. By the appearance from the Nurse I could only guess what happened to her. (ignored the further tomes)

I feel like artists story is really brutal too, the entity took away her brother, gave her new hope and instantly took it away again by taking her hands, tongue and friends again. At least if interpret everything happening as a way of the entity to make her kill what the crows imply I think.

    Billy's backstory is horribly tragic.

In short, half of the killer roster has backstories which are tragic. And which I like.

And somehow, for some reason, I just loved Nurse's tome lore. I know, I know. But the entire psychological element around it, the Broken Woman constantly chipping away at Nurse's sanity, and the ironic ending where she herself gets killed first.

Anyways, I also liked Legion's lore, base and tome.

Spirt, Sadako, Artist, Billy, Twins and for some reason Slinger.

    What about Slinger?

Wraith’s is fairly sad. He kept trying to do the right thing and was tricked or manipulated into killing people until he snapped.

Considering the Artist's story I'm gonna go with her

That feeling of being betrayed by people you trust and the theme of engineering. I can relate to that...

I've always had a soft spot for Jeff, him and his poor dog deserved better 😭

Yeah I have to agree with you. He seems like maybe the most redeemable Killer?

Along with Spirit and possibly Hillbilly yes. They’re all tortured souls.

It’s both funny and evil that you’re laughing 😂
