Hex: Trading Places (HUD switching hex)

I think it would be interesting if there was a hex that gives the killer the survivors HUD, and gave the survivors the limited information on the killer's HUD. This way, the killer can see who sits on gens, who's on death hook, doing a totem, etc. Meanwhile, the survivors are deprived of using the HUD to gauge what plays to make. This puts extra pressure on survivors to cleanse the hex totem, or risk playing in the dark about what's going on in game. It's an interesting way for killers to spy on survivors, and survivors to get to experience what it's like to play with the more limited info killers play on.

hud was specific designed to help soloq survivor. there is technically status effect that deprives information called blindness but just about every single content creator and player that has always stated that blindness is poorly designed mechanic because it doesn't work vs swf but punishes soloq.

to this day, people still debate that Knockout being an unhealthy perk because it deprives slugging information.

Killer already have a way to spy on survivor and it is called aura-reading. there is hex perk related aura reading, hex:face the darkness and it is closest thing to gathering global information on survivor for killer.

As Devil said above, a perk like this would have zero impact on SWF, and only be effective against solo queue. Which means it wouldn't be a good perk overall. It's an interesting idea though.

Some time ago, I had an idea of a status effect that would completely remove the HUD while active. This would be an effect that could be used on both killer and survivor perks.

I think that would be just annoying more than anything, removing information isn't really a good design choice tbh.
