Shoulder the Burden really should have been base-kit.
- Shoulder the Burden - Once per trial, as long as you are not on death hook, press the ability button 2 in front of a hooked Survivor to unhook them.When they are unhooked, they lose 1 hook state and you gain 1 hook state. You also scream and become Exposed for 30/25/20 seconds.
Really disappointing a desperately needed feature is paid DLC and a perk

Its not paid, it is an original chapter that you can earn. Nonetheless it should absolutely not be basekit as tunneling already has plenty of counters and teamplay to shut it down. The only reason people complain about it so much is because its almost impossible to coordinate plays in soloQ.

I disagree, this feature is a double edged sword and people could use it to end themselves. This as basekit? No thanks.

Sure, if you also agree with 20 seconds chase on average and buffing all killers to Nurse level to make 8 hooks before kill someone somehow possible.
But pretty sure you only want another basekit pros and do not deal with cons of this decision, like 90% of members here.8 -

And I'm not, because it will be boring af for both sides. I support idea to discourage tunneling with some mechanics AND reward killers for spreading hooks, but straight up remove tunneling from the game will kill it, because it will need in full rebalancing, where chase is non-existence. And it won't be fun not for survivors, neither for killers to end chases almost without chasing at all.
Considering the fact that survivors can't forget 6.1.0 patch even after 2+ years, literally nobody will play this game after such changes.2 -
Hard disagree the game is extremely killer favored right now, the game needs the mechanic to keep new players coming back to the game. Nobody wants to be the person getting hooked 3 times in a row. Its made many people quit, being out of the game before you can do anything is terrible for the state of the game

This perk can already break the game with SWFs. Instead, they should have made it basekit but only work on people who have been hooked twice in a row within the first 5 minutes of the match.

Some restrictions would be fine for base-kit like having a first 5 min time limit or can only be used once or twice
