If you're not gonna rework Human Greed, at least please consider some of these changes
The Perk has several issues that makes it not worth running.
- Low range
- Low aura reading duration
- Cooldown???
- Backwards Aura reading
- Low amount of Chests by default in the Trial (that's a general issue, this also depends on the map)
All these things make the Perk really hard to work with, but without completely changing this Perk, there are a few simple solutions.
- Bigger range (from 8 to 12 metres)
- Longer Aura reading duration (from 3 seconds to at least 6 seconds, or you may aswell just remove the duration and reveal the Auras of Survivors as long as they are near a Chest, could be near locked Chests so Survivors have counterplay to the Aura reading)
- Remove the cooldown for closing Chests (why does it even have a cooldown, any why was it reduced for the second time instead of being removed???)
- Reveal the Aura of unlocked Chests or just Chests in any state in general (instead of the locked chests, that way you at least don't waste that much time looking for those damn Chests to close them, you know, to use the Perk to the fullest)
- Add a Chest modifier to this Perk like Hoarder does (or just finally introduce Chest offerings for Killers that do not remove Chests but add them instead)
All these changes would make the Perk at least usable in normal matches, there is no way a Chest Perk even with all these buffs would become too overpowered or problematic, well, maybe unless if literally everyone in the match brings Very Rare Chests offerings (on Survivor) and you bring Hoarder, but common, that happens maybe like once a year. What do you think?

If they would add 3 more chests (6 chests) to all trials without offerings…., they would makes this perk better and give survivors more to do in general outside of generators. Win win.
The cooldown is really stupid. You already have to walk there. It feels pointless.

I really want the perk to spawn 2 more chests. There’s only 3 in a single trial with 1 or them being in the basement.

I guess the intended perk build by the developers is: Human Greed, Hoarder, Dominance, (and one other perk)
Although the cooldown feels a bit long.1 -
There isn't a reason for a cooldown tbh, you phisically cannot get to other Chests fast enough for the cooldown to even matter, so why have it in the first place? There also actually isn't even any reason to close Chests, because it only wastes your time, unless you have a Chest goblin in your lobby (which doesn't happen often), once they get their item, they won't search Chests at all, making the closing part pretty much useless :(

This perk will always be bad unless there are more chests per trial and chests aren't a negative time investment
