Lightweight is such a good perk. How do you counter it?

I just had 3 Survivors in a single match using Lightweight, it is so good!

I have a terrible time not losing Survivors who run it but there's no way to counter it and I thought there was.

I thought there was a Wraith perk that made scratch marks appear closer together and easier to track, but it's just for blood pools?

i looked at the survivor running forward and follow the survivor.

A survivor that breaks line of sight in most cases can be seen if they go left or right, so if you lose survivor, you section the parts where they could be because visibility is shown to you between them going left or right.

that is why smokebomb from halloween event were strong because it creates invisible walls where sectioning is more difficult allowing survivor to juke mid-chase in outdoor maps.

It's a Huntress perk bloodscent or something. I think they shadow buffed it because it's stronger than before. I run it as a survivor but sometimes it doesn't matter.

The wraith perk you were thinking of was predator, but it got reworked recently. I also don't think it affected the time scratch marks last though but instead how spread out they were.

It used to extend the duration of scratch marks way back in the day, then was reworked to the distance between them, then finally became an aura perk.

I think lightweight is pretty underrated to be honest. It's no meta perk but in normal games in can be a really good time waster, it's main drawback being it's based on luck.

On topic, you want to follow the bloodtrail if they're injured otherwise you'll wanna pay extra attention when chasing. A lot of the time they might be running quick and quiet, iron will or other stealth perks along with it so it's important to pay attention to how they're playing as well as check your corners.

As long you're being extra vigilant you can usually keep tabs even if they lose scratch's altogether.

Well, if you're wearing decent headphones you can track them by hearing, especially once they are injured.

Check out bloodhound. It's not scratch marks, it's for blood, but once they are hit there is a bright red trail following them. I think it's an underrated perk.
