The second iteration of 2v8 is now LIVE - find out more information here: https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/kb/articles/480-2v8-developer-update

I don't like the "vibes" of the new map, tho the concept is quite cool!

It just feels a random "call of duty"/ FPShooter map, especially considering the graphics isn't complete.

Mount Ormond Resort is SO MUCH better in comparison artistically, in my opinion.

The main building, and the underground, and the Easter eggs are cool, but the rest gives this strange "vibe". I don't know what it is, maybe I'm biased.

I hope they take the looks from the new map to Ormond.

The fog, the gens, everything looks so good on the new map.

Maybe it's the smooth white surface that is everywhere?

In regular Ormond, you have patches of grass at least. In the new map... nothing.

Deathslinger works really well on this map.

    Lol.

I like the vibes more than the Ski Resort. It could use some graphical touch-ups but the concept of the place is great, and it really feels like an oppressively cold and desolate area. The damage and carnage around the place helps sell it too.

And it's one of the few maps where the stupid yellow safety tape on every window actually make sense.

They added those yellow cloths to the windows to help new players know where the windows are.

Their choice of yellow is not in vain, in fact yellow is one of the most eye-catching colors.

Believe me, if they hadn't put those yellow cloths over some of the windows in some maps, I wouldn't have known they were windows until years later 💀

Scratchmarks are absolutely terrible on the new map. It's like all the new floor elements weren't properly tested for scratchmarks.

I thought we were supposed have had an update to ensure scratchmarks are visible on all surfaces? Are we having issues because the floor elements are technically thin 3D objects that lack collision, and scratchmarks have issues with objects that lack collision?

It gives me The Thing vibes and I kinda like it. Though I haven't had a chance to play on it yet

I know why they did it, they just stole the idea from Resident Evil. But it looks ugly and out of place on many maps and I would prefer more natural-looking signposts on vault locations instead of copy-pasting the same thing everywhere.
