Better Together is the worst survivor perk
What you want to do is spread the generators but this perk does the complete opposite. Now if the old Prove Thyself was still here and the extra time on generators weren't added in, I would have changed my opinion, but this perk brings everyone to you like a moth to a flame or they avoid you for all eternity.
I have tried a ton of survivor games with this perk and the results are mixed. Some bring the killer towards the generator, others use it to get to me for heals (Emphatic Connection is far more superior), but what I like the most is if everyone comes to the last generator that I'm on but it seldom happens.
How would I change this perk?
Better Together reveals the generator to all the Survivors in translucent blue and your aura in yellow. Why? Because it's more unique and it's less confusing with all the other gen perks showing in yellow. It also adds a visible icon above the generator showing progress to Survivors.
Since the name is Better Together, the skill checks success zones are bigger, and the more survivors are on the generator, the bigger the skill check zones. Missing a skill check reduces progression lost. It also reduces any noise you make when together on the generator e.g. no injury noises, no crows being alerted, repairing sounds reduces, etc, and it hides the survivors aura to the killer.
What do you think?

I would not really say that it is the worst Perk. I dont think it is a good Survivor-Perk, but far from the worst. And to be honest, even with pre-nerfed Prove Thyself, it was always better to split up on Gens, even when Prove Thyself negated the Penalty for two people on the Gen. (And the main reason was always the Bonus-BP why the Perk was used)
But regarding your idea - first of all, I fully agree that Better Together should show itself in a different Aura than the Standard Yellow. Because yellow Auras are used for so much and you cannot really tell if it is a Person using Better Together, a Gen with a Wiretap or Trail of Torment.
The rest sounds alright, but I would not increase the Skill Check Success Zones.

I only ever run it with Prove Thyself and even then it's not that good. There are other perks for information that are better.
I wouldn't say it is the worst survivor perk, but it's definitely low tier.

Better Together can do the opposite as well; if you see a Better Together gen almost done and you're being chased, you don't run into the yellow generator.
The problem with Better Together is that blast mine has kinda replaced it

Troubleshooter would just be better in that case.
You see the most progressed Generator, so you can avoid it, and you get Aura Reading upon dropping a Pallet.
