This mode exactly points out why we cannot have a 50% winrate on average both sides. This feels as bad as back when we DID have that. It's never going back to 50%. We all need to let that go. :(

This mode this time around is too Survivor-sided, and it didn't need to be. All they should have touched was the stomp to hook thing and being able to flashlight save, my games unironically felt better first time around than here. The rest needed no changes. We did not need Killer classes. We didn't need the buffs to be this strong. Rebuilding pallets as Scout is too strong when there's this many; Guide outclasses and overrides the comeback mechanic and should not be there at all. And there is nothing the Killers can do except tunnel people out with highly mobile Killers when Survs can bring FOUR Guides at once and stack on gen clusters this hard.

Survivors are overbuffed, and Killers have been given weird nerfs like only seeing so many gens in one radius for no reason. If this is how they are testing new concepts or ideas, they are failures, never come back to them again.

Just asking what exactly you consider a "survivor stomp" - cause counting 0, 1 & 2k (which I'd consider surv stomping) I count 9 — which is still a bit too high. Imo 2v8 should aim for the vast majority of matches having 3-5 survs escaping.

That being said; Killer in this mode has the same issue as surv in SoloQ: if you don't pay attention to what your team is doing you screw yourself over. Now, for the surv role it's kinda understood how that works - killers still have a learning curve.

I see a pretty big difference between afternoon and evening matches; in the afternoon pretty much everyone seems to be solo with the odd surv duo. In the evenings it's a lot of premade killer teams - and 2-3 groups of surv premades with a solo thrown in. As the solo you get overlooked quite often on surv side - and many premade killers also play way differently and are a lot more lethal.

If I have some time on hand I can track ~15 matches in the afternoon and ~15 matches in the evening as well. Might take 2-3 days tho.

    I played 9 killer games. 7x 8k, 1x 7k, 1x 6k.

Every escape was hatch. No escape gates ever opened.

I tried that once as huntress + blight (9k + 6k hours killers).
I played against it once too (huntress and blight too, both killers 6k hours).

Both situations ended in killers win.

Slugging is strong, people don't do gens. All you need is good snipes as huntress and blight or billy to cover gens.

Well, I spent all my 2 Vs 8 games yesterday dying along with all my other teammates. I only escaped once through a lucky hatch escape.

Personally, if my escape rate for 2 Vs 8 is no better than the one I have for 1 Vs 4, I may as well play 1 Vs 4. At least I can face a bigger variety of Killers and use a bunch of different builds in 1 Vs 4.

It might be different if they add more Survivor classes and Killers in the future, but right now there's currently not enough reason for Survivors to keep playing 2 Vs 8 if it feels just as sweaty as playing the regular mode (or even sweatier, with all the buffed up Blights/Billys/Spirits and Nurses around).

Watch when stats come out it being 42% survive rate and 58% kill rate from blight/billy alone carrying the other killers. Countering all the survivor sided chats.

If you somehow get 8 man slugged in 2v8 you need locked up and studied under a microscope.

I think we'll see what we saw last time. Really strong start for survivors in 2v8, because their base plus classes are insane. But then the really good survivors will get bored with the mode and go back to regular queue (or something that causes the average teammate you get to go down in quality), the good killers will start playing because the queue times finally go down, and then we'll see survivors almost never get the crushing results they were getting in the beginning, because they don't know what they're doing and the killers do. That sort of shows what's wrong with the game in general.

I been playing solo queue Trapper, while I set up traps on gens I have close, my teammate goes and pressures survivors.

I try to protect 3-4 gens with traps and such and very rarely interact with my teammate or help him chase. I been having good results, quite a few 8k wins, 7-6k and only lost like 3 out of 20 matches, this is not a standard tho, I might been lucky, cause as survivor I haven’t lost a single game.

I think that medic should be toned down a bit and maybe give brute a gen regression perk after hooking.

It's not about having 8 people on the ground - we bled out most

True. Tunneling is way more effective. If you hook every survivor once, survivors will get 8% repair bonus. However, if you tunnel the same survivor aggressively, survivors only get 3% repair bonus and they are permanently crippled by 1/8 of their team's capacity. That's simply math.

The killers are just insanely better then if they can constantly reslug people with heal skill being a thing & self pick up with power.
