As the title explains, and the photos attached show, whenever I try to load into a match, be either killer or survivor, this "error code 5) pops up and all of my pakchunk files seem to be corrupted. I have tried to reinstall and verified the files multiple times, as the error suggests, but that didn't fix the issue.

I play on Steam, I'm on Cachyos linux, proton version is irrelevant, it occurs with every proton version.

OS: CachyOS Linux x86_64
Kernel: Linux 6.11.7-2-cachyos
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070

1)Open Dead By Daylight;
2) queue up for either a killer queue or survivor queue;
3) receive this error.

    I have this Exact Issue nothing has fixed it for me yet, i tried reinstalling dbd 3 times, i did file verification on steam, just deleted EAC folder only and verified the files to redownload EAC.

    Same. I have been having the exact same issue, except maybe worse. My game will allow me to que, get into the game, get halfway through then entirely crash and sometimes the PC itself will crash- which isn't likely considering the PC is a pretty decent setup.

    Once rebooting or reopening the application it will THEN pop this error message up and say my files have been modified. I've verified the integrity of my files through steam and it says all but 1 are good, but no resolve to fix. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling game, same thing- lets me in game, load into map, and boom does it again.
