    Agreed.

Myers has no map mobility, like Dredge or Hillbilly. He has no traps, like Hag and Trapper. He has no built-in slowdown, like Pig. His "stealth" is just a smaller terror radius in Tier 2. And his "chase power" is just a *slightly* faster vault and lunge. What a joke.

All he has is a 60 second timer to insta-down, which he has to spend minutes building up. Only to end up getting just 1 hook out of it because survivors pre-run when they hear his Terror Radius.

These "buffs" aren't enough at all.

My fear is that BHVR will say to themselves "Well, we did it, we finally buffed Myers" and then never touch him again.

Imo, the buffs he got were a push in the right direction. But they're not enough to solve his issues. His add-ons are still terrible, Tombstone Piece is still too strong, he still can't do much in Tier III other than pop it right behind someone and spend the rest of it eating pallets.

If I could do changes to him, I'd do this:

Not every killer has to appeal you. There are many people, that like how he is right now and the focus should be on making the killer more fun and better for them. It is disrespectful to those, who enjoy playing him, to rework him into something completely different like a new killer. That’s how l feel about Sadako.

I agree, that he should get more, but not a rework.

He doesn't need a rework. The buffs he got are a step in the right direction and he's already going to feel a lot better to play now.

I agree he still needs some more, but this is a promising start.

The supposed “buffs” were tested by a streamer. The thing is that the stalk needs to be done from very and I mean very far away to provide enough value, you might think it’s a buff, but with the amount of walls, rooms, indoor maps, loops, second floors and more, it’s more like a nerf really.

They have to crank a bit the stalk from close and I mean, what I would do is just add an insta kill mechanic after enough stalk. Without add on. Kinda like a condemn or pig trap. If you manage to stalk enough a survivor, you can kill him. A tier 4 version I guess.

I watched Stalky boi a Myers main test them for hours on his stream. He didn't have that kind of trouble. Up close stalk should be bumped up some but its not as bad as your streamer is making out.

That's one man's opinion. In my opinion, these Myers' changes will do basically nothing. All they did was buff Tier 1 (which you never return to after the beginning of the trial anyway), and flip the stalk numbers. Myers is basically exactly the same as he was before. His biggest issues remain.

The stalking up close multiplier needs a buff. Tier 3 needs something extra like breaking pallets faster.

But it's a fallacy to say these changes do basically nothing. Tier 1 was one of his biggest issues. Early game is very important to a killer. This is one major issue that's been solved. The double the amount of stalk per survivor is another significant issue solved. He doesn't need to be as conservative with his stalk now. That's more than enough evil within to win. If you drain everyone dry and are still losing then that's on the player. The stalking faster from a distance is also huge because survivors are always running away from you not towards you.

If they give tier 3 something extra and buff the stalking up close multiplier he will be doing well. Myers is still an M1 killer. I don't know what some people are expecting them to change about him that will alter that and give him map mobility. He's not a character who moves super fast or teleports. I don't want them turning him into something his character isn't. One of the best things about him is playing as him makes it feels like Michael Myers because he is creepy stalking man with a knife. Even tombstone feels in character for him.

If Myers has his close ranged stalking buffed, then the tombstone addons and the infinite tier 3 addon, all need penalties to close ranged stalking, to make them identical to current close ranged stalking.

As in, it’s cool and everything to buff normal Myers gameplay, but the tombstone and infinite tier 3 addons are mega awful and unfair for survivors, and they need the nerfs they received with the recent Myers changes.

Yeah the extra stalk points and buffed T1 is nice. But my point is, those weren't actually his biggest issues. His "stealth" is bad, and his chase power in T3 is kinda worthless without perks to compliment them. He is still one of the worst killers, and that won't change unless they buff his chase power, or buff his stealth.

I disagree. Tier 1 was definitely one of his biggest issues. Bad early game was a significant hindrance. So was the stalk limit on survivors. He technically still has that now but they've buffed it so much that he can stalk his heart out and not worry about running out of juice as there's plenty to go around. The tier 1 buff along with the fast distance stalking has made me feel comfortable enough to drop corrupt on him now.

Tier 3 comes with a mega lunge and fast vault speed. I never felt it was worthless. I agree it needs something more, and I would love faster pallet breaking myself to go with the other two features so he is basically a beast in chase fast vaulting windows and chewing through pallets with a big lunge. That's the best you can get for an M1 killer. Or if they want to really spoil us, throw in a bit of enduring when in tier 3 as well.

As for his stealth, I've been a dead rabbit user for years and that little add on alone has let me walk right up on survivors and they had no idea I was there. I'd love if it was base kit.
