2v8 shouldn't allow the same types of killers to be used.

I'm sick of ranged killers like Huntress and Deathslinger being used in this game mode. 2 of the same types of killers shouldn't be able to team up like this. It's like if Billy and Bubba could team up hell no.

Killer queues are already unbearable and you want to add another restriction?

It's bad enough that Killers wait 15+ minutes to play a match which often ends in ≈5 minutes (if the server doesn't crash or a hacker doesn't manually crash it) with a pretty small selection to choose from, but now the selection would be even smaller.

For the little time they get to play vs how long they wait, at least let Killer players play who they want (there's already the "no duplicates" stipulation anyway).

I think after the bugfix Huntress and Slinger are fine

If they enjoy the killers then let them have the fun and the bug is fixed so gameplay wise everything is fine.

Also, this combination has no good mobility which hurts a lot in a game mode with big maps - makes it difficult to catch up, defend generators, and they can make less use of information. You can also loop them around a rock because 110% sucks. Survivors have many advantage against this combination.

That is quite possibly the weakest possible combination in 2v8. Of the matches I lost as a Huntress main it was almost always with a Deathslinger teammate

But why? A nurse and a huntress or a hillbilly and a huntress will preassure and destroy you so much more. Deathslinger is more luck in that situation because he doesn't have a lot of map preassure, otherwise you have a huntress with range over the entire map and a killer like hillbilly or nurse that's insanely fast and lethal added to the constant fear or getting sniped xD

Be thankful it ain't Spirit + Huntress or Nurse + Huntress.

I've lost more games with the Deathslinger + Huntress combo in comparison to the above combo.

We have to wait 10+ minutes whereas survivor queue is near instant, let us have fun and cook 🍳

Who cares about Deathslinger? He is usually free escape in 2v8…

I swear its starting to feels like a vast majority of 2vs8 threads seem to be fundamentally against 2vs8 as a concept.

The whole point of each killer in DBD is to have their own respective strengths and weaknesses, and then with 2 killers in 2vs8 the point is to create unique killer teams that amplify each others strengths or cover each other's weaknesses. If we're not doing that, what is the actual point?

It's like listening to people complain Soulsborne games are too challenging... when that's the entire point of the game. There are objective things you can criticise about 2vs8, but if you fundamentally don't want to face the unique challenge of this game mode, you're never gonna enjoy it...
