Spies From The Shadows Becoming META?

I've been seeing alot more killers lately, use this perk. Is there a reason why it's becoming so popular now? Just curious.

I don't think it's becoming meta, just a niche pick.

It's basically unblockable tracking with no tell at all, since Calm Spirit is barely used.

contrary to popular belief, SFTS is actually a pretty good perk when it comes to countering the more careless stealthers, as well as making edge-map plays more risky. information-wise, it's decent in your average match since most players tend to ignore the crows and it makes the team more predictable based on how many crows have been disturbed in an area.

Spies From The Shadows has always been a really underrated perk.

Low cooldown. Decent information. Good accessibility perk for those with visual impairments. The range is in that "just right" area where it isnt too big but also isnt too small. Ultimate Weapon getting nerfed has made it so you hardly see Calm Spirit, which is the only perk that can counter SFTS.

Im actually surprised to see that a lot of people dont run it. Like yea, Aura Reading is more accurate, but SFTS gives you constant information passively and has probably carried me to a lot of wins.

It's been slept on, absolutely! It's not one of the "meta" perks, but it is one of those perks Survivors do not see coming, and it's only be luck (such as choosing Calm Spirit) whereby it's countered.

Another slept-on perk is Whispers. It always gives decent intel, even if it isn't with pin-point accuracy, but what is so great is that there is no counter whatsoever. Once someone gets used to the different whispers to show how close you are, it's actually a really decent perk.
