How did behavior fail twice in a row

but think about this for example how come we have to wait like 10 minutes to get killer matches when most people don't like playing characters like Trapper or Deathslinger cause of the amount of time to setup or how hard it is to manage a snowball even with 2 killer most people manage to at least get 4 people out ending in a draw

There are serious fails in 2V8 that favor killers, so I don't trust that BHVR will fix them.
1) The huntress can throw hatches through walls and through rocks. I thought I was insane until my friend watched my game and confirmed. 2) Increasingly the game is not allowing me to throw palettes (the key just doesn't work), when I can open chests, I can't take the item out. I have to back up a meter for it to work and I can't unhook people easily — the key tip comes in an out. I play playstation and my guess is that it's an optimization issue. (It should be added that this issue is inconsistent and at its worse on 11/24, playing 11/25 was better)
Then there is just the aura reading that is on about 80% of the game. There is no point in doing gens when there are 4 people left in the game so games take so so long. It's time to shut off aura at some point or no one will do gens.

If I'm reading this correctly, you're listing negative issues with the killer experience and trying to suggest the killer role can't be popular enough to justify the queue times?
If that's the case, then I think you're missing the big picture.
2v8 is the only way to play killer with a friend. This attracts people who only play killer and want to try playing in a duo, and it attracts survivor players who are no longer forced to play survivor if they want to play with a friend. Playing killer with another person is the reason to play 2v8. Now, when a survivor gives you trouble in a chase, call your friend over and boom, block off that survivor's path and put him on the ground. That's super fun for killers. Not fun for survivors, though.
Survivors don't really get anything new. They've always been able to play with others; the difference is now there are more. Maybe some enjoy the 2v8 experience, but a large number of people are not going to like that the perks and items and offerings they poured their Bloodpoints into aren't available to use. Other than the Tome, there's nothing to earn for 2v8, nothing to unlock. Yes, you get Bloodpoints, but you can't put them towards 2v8, they go towards 1v4.

Ten days later, the killer queue times are way better. The very first iteration of 2v8 it wasn't uncommon to go 30+ minutes for a queue. This 2v8 I had about 20-30 minutes queue time at the start.
But now that it's nearing its end in the second iteration, I'm getting about 10 minute queue times. That's still pretty long, but much more bearable than what it used to be. I guess the novelty of playing killer with friends is wearing off for people.
