What is your favorite layer of each chase theme?
i´m not sure if i´ve already asked this before, but my list would be something like this:
Notes:
Trapper represents the default themes
If skull merchant had her old chase theme back she would 100% be on the chase category
PTB xenomorph would still be on chase (i really liked it)
None of the ghost face chase themes are cool enough to beat his first layer imo
Legion is only in the chase tier because i like susie´s mix tape, without it he would probably be in Far or approaching (i don´t dislike his chase theme, but it feels like an actual song and it gets repetitive for me)
Wesker is in near because… i think it´s better
Slinger and nemesis are Top tier for me

Slinger's layer 2 is really, really good. The western vibe mixed with DBD's iconic main theme (Dies Irae, more accurately, but you get what I mean) is perfect.

His second layer is really amazing, it's probably the one that I mostly hear in my surv matches, but I can't decide between it and his chase

They are too many for me to count. Terror radius’s are done so well by Michael.
Skull Merchants layer 2 and old chase is fire.
Legions layer 2 and chase is fire.
Singularity’s is amazing
Sadakos is so looming. I love it. Too bad I rarely hear it with her demsnifest.

I will say Nemmys terror radius fits him perfectly tho! So my opinion means nothing :)

Vecna = all layers
Onryu= all layers and she actually wins number one as the best chase theme out of all killers for me.
I cant believe it but ill also put SM = layer 1 2 3. I use to like 4 until her rework turn the washing machine part off into just pounding drums which sounds worst
Wesker = all layers
Default = blood trail out of all default chase music( yes one of them is called blood tail
Hag= all layers
siinger = all layers
Pyramid head = all layers
Dredge = even though I hate him = all layers
Artist = same as dredge
The rest not mention is boring and annoying example pinhead and twins theme sounds like annoying flies.
Unknown theme sounds like one of those deep toilets your trying to flush where the water takes forever to go down.
Chucky layer 1 only then after that annoying.

She's not on the list but Houndmaster has one of, if not the best Layer 2s in the game imo.
Violin is a criminally underused instrument in TR/chase music and I'm glad it's front and centre in a lot of her motifs (especially her menu music).

I think his theme's second layer is better than his chase, but I can see why it is hard to choose. They did a hell of a good job with his music.
