Houndmaster trailer swamp rework!!!?
The trailer Houndmaster and Taurie feature in appears to be in a swamp like map do you think its finally a Swamp map rework or a new map!?

I think it could be a swamp rework but it's also possible that it's just an environment made for the trailer. I doubt it would be a new map cause it's not releasing with the chapter

There is no map with this chapter. It's a shame, the trailer made me think they'd add a new Backwater Swamp map, possibly with the Houndmaster's ship moored on the coast, that would make a cool landmark.

Swamp will get reworked eventually but they aren't exactly quick about their map reworks. Might be nice if they added a third map to the swamp map pool but I feel they want every realm to have at least 2 maps.
2 maps per realm might help too if they're going to keep map offerings at least we wouldn't know which one we were getting!
Only issue with 2 maps per realm off the top of my head is haddonfield (even if it wasn't a licence issue what can they really do to it?) & the silent hill school without a second silent hill chapter I doubt that gets a new map.
With the new mount ormand map I expect glenvale might be next to get a new addition

I wish we could get a second Silent Hill map. The best picks would probably be Alchemilla Hospital, Toluca Prison, or the Lakeside Amusement Park.

Honestly I've always really liked Pale Rose. I had mixed feelings regarding Grim Pantry, but I've come to appreciate that map a lot more now that they are the only ones left from the Old DBD.

I am always happy when we get a new roadmap and the Swamp is not even mentioned.
Whatever happens, my friend, I'll try my best to offer as much feedback as it is needed.

I eagerly await what you have planned for the coming updates and hotfixes after the chapter release, and I hope the Devs have taken the other Killers and perks planned out into account! Does the focus on further fixes mean that Killers like Demo and Ghostie, and tweaks to Killers like Drac and Myers, might be bigger and be coming in the near future? Can we expect some info on any map updates in the future, or is that something else that's longterm and needs more dedicated bandwidth?

The tweaks will not be bigger, killer tweaks are purely number adjustments - that's what differentiates things from a rework, these are things that our design team can do without needing extra bandwidth from the programming team for example. And us doing tweaks now does not remove the possibility of further larger updates to a character or perk down the line either, so people need not be concerned that "this" is all there is if their particular killer of choice did not get as much of an update as they hoped to have.
And I can't share further information about things we've not yet shared publicly, our next roadmap which should be sometime in January (probably later part), will give further information on what is coming during the early part of next year.
