Make the game scarier
Would love to see the game scarier. Just add some settings that makes it scarier.

A time machine is what you need.
To go back to 2016 when the game wasn't about Scooby-Doo chases.

I hear the cartoon noises every time i see someone do a 360... I can't do them because i'm trash but still. Entertaining.

I see your point - I've been wishing for months that we would go back to the original roots and be scary again! I even made a chapter idea that they could use that people seem to believe is scary enough to intrigue people. Hopefully they'll get that scary edge next DLC release.

Honestly, more killers like Myers, Clapper (Either one) Wraith, and Prayer Beads Spirit (But not as OP). These are the only killers I feel afraid against, like ######### is going to happen. ######### with Terror Radiuses based on the killers?
2 -
Trapper: Snap! - Similar to Pig when she is getting up, every survivor hears Trapper's TR approaching them after someone gets caught in a trap. If disarmed, only the disarmer hears it.
Wraith: RNG swapping between the established options of bing bonging. This time it is silent. Next time, everyone hears it. Next time, it's normal. Next time, only those on generators hear it. Next time, only those healing hear it.
Billy - Gonna keep him fine. He is strong enough.
Nurse - As above, so below.
Huntress - When she hooks someone, lullaby and TR stop.
Myers - Fine the way he is.
Hag - Kinda like Doctor Hallucinations, when she teleports, terror radius should pop up.
Doctor - BEEG
Bubba - Don't Know
Freddy - Smaller when awake, bigger while asleep.
This kinda #########, where you cannot tell if they are actually there, or ######### with you.

I've seen old dbd gameplay, and it was a lot scarier back then. More fog, and darker lighting really set the mood of a horror game. I wish it could be more like that, but what can you do, really?

Well maybe just make it darker (as a setting) and maybe remove the red stain as a setting too?

removing the red stain would change the balance of the game significantly idk what other people would think about that.

If the game looked more like this
for Survivors (if it was this dark for Killers they would never find anyone and that'd be boring instead of scary) this game would already be a LOT scarier. There wouldn't be a single person who wouldn't scream when Scratched Mirror Myers jumps out from behind a corner.
Remove Red Stains and Terror Radiuses and it'd be even more horrifying to play Survivor; you'd have to listen for their breathing or other sound cues (Anna's lullaby, Phillip's footsteps, the soft hum of a idle chainsaw, Rin's vacuum cleaner) or you could bump into them while rounding a corner.
Of course, it'd also be grossly inbalanced and probably get boring to play as Survivor since you'd have virtually no way to avoid the Killer or know what they're doing during a chase.
Maybe it could work as an alternative game mode, but I'm not sure there are enough players who are actually interested in playing a HORROR version of Dead by Daylight for it to work or be worth BHVR's time. 🙁

Great example and great ideas! Might be little too dark but its an great example for how to make the game scarier.

Love that bug. Let's call Bethesda, and make it a feature.

Agree but just add something for the killer to make it possible to find people :)
