Do you think we'll see a decrease in the usage of map offerings?

For those who haven't noticed, sacrificial ward has become a brown offering. Now players could very well use them EVERY match if they want to avoid map offerings whereas before, it really wasn't common enough to be able to do that. Do you think this will lead to a decrease in the number of map offers people will use since they'll be more likely to be countered, or maybe do you think we'll see teams use 4 Erie of crows offerings instead?

They'll use 4 dupes to cancel the ward out or not bother probably.

I'd love them to remove completely the map offerings, but it's gonna make a lot of players upset so…

In a PVP game where there are multiple players in the lobby - 1 individual player should never have the power to pick the map, it just mindboggly-bad design.

Why should 1 random guy from the lobby have the "ability" to chose the map without asking anyone in the same lobby? In any other pvp game where players can chose the map - there are a Voting system, where each individual player in the lobby voting for the map they wanna play.

The thing like: "Which map" in a pvp game should be completely RNG-based, or at least have a voting system. Period.

Not really because they have nothing to lose. If they get lucky and get the map, they play until they make one tiny mistake and if they don't get the map, then they can give up on hook and try it next time. This is sadly the nature of some players and the developers support this by keeping map offerings as they are and not punishing give ups.

This by the way no drama, I got this fifth times since this patch came out.

If blocking maps becomes a common thing, I will take a long break. I use them to play on maps, that I like aesthetically and to not play unfun one sided maps like haddonfield all the time. Map offerings make this game a lot more enjoyable for me.

i just hope BHVR will not call it a day with these changes, Sac Ward being brown is nice not gonna lie but at the end of the day it's just a band-aid fix for the real problem and on the top of that we cant use BP offerings anymore when we want a NORMAL game with out being sended to Badham, Eyerie etc.

it's so stupid cause the player has to balance his experince and not the devs.

The last time I saw 4 map offerings block my ward was on old Haddonfield... Brings back odd memories...

I wonder if map offerings becoming SWF exclusive will be the end result?

I think this is a great compromise. I imagine killers will use one when they suspect they're facing a 4man and survivors will use them when they're not in the mood for an undetectable killer on Midwich lol the latter is why I will use it

Lmao me too, literally only reason to run ward on survivor

You think I am going to drop my BP offerings? Hell no.
I will just go tryhard mode whenever someone tries to use map offering.

I wish we could see exactly who used that offering even when offerings are not used by everyone. You bet that would reduce map offerings…
