Houndmaster's Hounsense is kinda pointless

So, I really think that people have been underrating Houndmaster's strength, but that's not the point of this thread. The point that I would like to make is that, part of her kit does feel kinda useless, which is strange since there are a lot of add-ons that affect it. I am talking about Houdsense. Ok, it reveals the survivor's location, but the effects that happen to them when you hit them are just pointless.

Deep wound is just useful if the survivor has Dead Hard, which not all of them do. If she was a hit-and-run killer like Sadako, Ghostface, and Wraith, it could be useful for her to stall survivors, but that isn't the case. In case she downs the survivors, they have louder grunts of pain and leave bigger pools of blood, which… Would be useful if she was a slugging killer, like Twins, Oni, and Myers, but that's not the case either.

I mean, maybe deep wound will become more useful when they rework it, but as for now, she could have a better effect applied, like exhausted, oblivious, hindered, idk…

    I dont think Houndsense is designed to be strong. The main appeal is just the information, the extra bits are just that… extra. They arent meant to do much, just provide a small boost or effect.

    Id say that my only gripe is that it can sometimes be punishing due to the exists of Made For This giving Survivors 3% Speed versus a (mostly) M1 Killer, but not many players use MFT in this day and age after the nerfs awhile back.

    It should be exposed status effet or instant down.

    When stuck in hounsens status.

    But like, it's not even a bonus, it's basically a nothing burger since she is not the type of killer who gets any value from these effects.
