Of removing the point bonus? Sure it didn't particularly make sense to have this. But like the few other perks that added point increases. At the very least this encourages SOME variety in the game.
I used to bring this perk on dailies for killers I suck as to somewhat bolster my points in the match. This surely wasn't something that needed to go away.
Honestly there should be a perk that increses points for each score category.

That was exactly the problem. They dont want any perks which give extra bloodpoints or boost your bloodpoints. Like old BBQ, WGLF, Prove Thyself etc.
The reason is maybe bc the dont want to hinder perk variety or they cleaner pickrate data.
