How is it historically accurate? All of her frocks behind her head come out to vampire-esq points. Everything is super stylized, the antithesis of historically accurate. I've seen Dynasty Warriors characters less stylized than her. She has that half-shaved head thing going on in her alternate cosmetic, as well as a poodle, very modern design decisions. And I'm not saying a pirate like her couldn't have existed, but likely didn't, and overall she just isn't what your typical pirate looks like. We had to be told that's what she was.

    She is a 2 though.

Pirates were often ex sailors or apart of the Royal Navy etc. Master of Hounds is a legit title in British (and probably other) contexts. So part of me thinks it’s the pirate rebelling with the title - like even if she never had anything to do with the navy or whatever she may have adopted the title or others name her thus because of the dog. In that way it’s an irreverent thumbing of the nose at what is normally a stodgy proper role in a household.

It could even be that she was a master of hounds prior to being a pirate for a household. Or the name came after she got the dog. Idk.

The dog itself could have been stolen, bartered for, or kept when they were trading exotics or other animals. Historically, dogs came over on many ships. A Google search shows that it would not have been uncommon for pirates to have pets - exotic like monkeys to practical like dogs and cats and even some livestock.

So from her clothes - which could have been piecemealed and stolen from multiple people or bought etc - to her dog and to her cane doesn’t seem surprising to me. It’s a persona, right? If you want control one of the ways to get it is to look powerful with regalia and a black dog at your command.

No idea why these people keep calling her "historically accurate", much be an echo chamber lol
