for the developers, why is it 7 seconds long? to think it is stronger that BBQ & Chili?

BBQ isn't a scourge hook. And it works instantly after placing survivor on a hook. Means you don't need to wait for the unhook.

You have to get to a scourge hook first. Which sometimes ain't easy.
BBQ works every time, without a prerequisite.

Yeah. You could be chasing another survivor and not even get the benefit of seeing people during those 7 seconds. They act like you benefit from these perks to perfect effect every single time.
