What happened to the matchmaking for killers?
It's taking forever!
I would think it's normal (normal, not fine) if there was an evt that split the queues, but that's not the case.
Usually I check Steam DB to see how many players are live and it's, like, a couple Ks more than usual and still finding matches is taking forever.

Steam is only a fraction of the players. Majority play killer so you need more survivors than killer. No one wants to play survivor very much and the ones that do are either toxic, lazy, or they are trying but get set back by useless teammates. Survivor isn't attractive anymore.

My queue takes 1-2 minutes, idk. Probably your region problem.
Upd: Streamers across the world I watch also have nearly instant queue on killers, so have no idea.0 -
I think it'll get better in the next hours, but at this time it shouldn't be that bad.
How surv isn't attractive when they can made a fool of the killer (because the killer is not a menace anymore/he is just a clown to be bullied)?

Solo queue is not the way you bully the killer, i could understand if you are in 4-man SWF but in solo queue…not so much

Everyone is a 4 man swf in the killers eyes on this forum. They cry because they get whooped one game and think it's unfair that they can't kill everyone every time

I for instance say this only when I have good evidence like chasing one surv and the moment he/she is about to go down another one appears out of nowhere to take the hit, the combination of offerrings…

This is true, the evidence is how many killers were complaining that 2v8 was "massively survivor sided". A user on Reddit tracked 200 games of 2v8 and the kill rate was 51%. If a killer main ever loses they think the game is unfair.

As an experienced survivor main I would say one reason is playing solo survivor is pretty miserable at present. The roster of unfun killers with extremely obnoxious or tedious builds is making the game a bit of a slog, it feels especially onerous after 2v8 for me personally and I am sure I am not alone there.
I stopped playing killer as it stressed me out to the point I realised I was no longer having fun but even I have considered switching to killer, as between the unpleasant killers and team mates giving up survivor feels pretty depressing at present.

In my mmr range and region i barely see 25% incentives as a survivor. Not enough incentive to get me to play more than one game. And that's only because I've already started DBD.
