Dbd is to killer sided

I am sick of every single killer only slugging, proxy camping hooks and tunneling right off hook…..behaviour needs to figure things out before they lose many players. Put distortion back the way it was

no just they need to do something about tunneling and camping straight off hook, it takes no skill to sit and proxy camo a hook just so you can slug everyone to get the free mori at the end…..killers do not want to take chase or anything like that anymore

How many killer behaviors remain for you to enjoy the game?

If you want to play a game where opposing camps with conflicting interests can enjoy each other's company, I suggest you start a TRPG or something similar rather than a PvP game.

While I do agree there are some pretty scummy players at present, survivors do a lot to make that playstyle work even more.

If a killer is proxy camping, do gens and if you have to, trade hooks at the very last second possible. Run Off the Record, Dead Hard , DS and Reassurance (or any of these perks in your build OTR is incredibly strong) and STOP HOVERING AROUND A CAMPED SURVIVOR.

I cant count the number of times I would have got anti camp and was ready to lead a tunnelling killer into a world of misery with an OTR into DS to reset deep wound followed by DH combo… only for my team mates to be hovering the hook so I never get anti camp.

At the very least if you don't want to change perk builds, DO GENS. I hate killers that play like that but survivors make it much more worthwhile for them to resort to this.

This is true. In solo queue, the teammates will almost never make the most of a killer who's fully committed to proxy camping. Bigger issue is high mobility killers who can head straight back to hook and tunnel again in seconds.

And I tend to agree to a large extent with OP. There are a lot of killers who rely on just running back to hook and tunneling someone if they're not too far from the unhook. Sacrificing a little gen pressure to get someone on second hook ASAP doesn't take much skill if they went down for their first hook reasonably fast and didn't even heal yet.

This is interesting actually, since all of us only have our own experience to go on. As killer, I essentially never do these things, except occasionally against a bully squad (and not even typically against them). But as survivor, I don't do anything to warrant these behaviors; no teabagging, no annoying flashlight aggro. I don't even run Flashbang that often and I typically wait for some time to let the killer get away before going for unhooks. Nevertheless, it astonishes me how often killers will run straight back to any unhook they can.

    Same as rushing gens.
    No skill at all.

I'm not defending killers that do these things. I just want to take this opportunity to point out that focusing on gen rush also does not need skills.😁

That's kinda my experience, too. I don't go out of my way to do anything like that from the word go as Killer, and if it does happen it's accidental or me pressuring something else and a Survivor getting caught in the crossfire. I find slugging for a long time boring (and I always lose slugs I leave too long anyway), I don't tunnel from 5 gens on purpose because I hate that ######### as Survivor, and I don't usually stick around hooks that long unless I think you're all very altruistic. And usually if I'm slugged or tunnelled or camped as Survivor, it's OBVIOUS and because the Killer either a) just hates my face for some reason, b) I was the convenient close target, c) I was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

In other words, mostly accidental, unintended, or just the Killer pressuring as normal because it's part of the game.

See? Yesterday the other player posted: - "Survivors are op and easy compared to killer side".

This one saying: - "Killer sided game".

This is what I call - nearly balanced game. :D

They have to take chase, by design, in order to get you. Tunneling is doing exactly that, but on the same person. And tunneling and camping are here to stay as long as the game forces you to play like that.

the game is only killer sided on low mmr so i will leave it at that, not sure about nurse or blight/ billy but at the top skill level game isnt killer sided for regular killers

Maybe killers don't want to take chase because loops have become increasingly difficult and time consuming so when they catch someone they need to keep hold of them. And gens fly so fast a killer often feels they need to camp, slug, tunnel. It always baffles me how survivors say "no skill" to use these tactics but a killer can only chase, camp, tunnel 1 person at a time.... The other 3 are (or should be) doing gens which takes no skill. I would also add that it takes no skill to run from pallet to pallet in some cases especially with windows of opportunity. I can't speak for all killers but I know from my experience as killer I used to spread hooks and play by survivor rulebook. But since gens have popping crazy fast and constantly going against well coordinated swf teams I have been tunneling, camping, slugging.... whatever I need to do to get the kills.

Fully agree. The matches where I can easily 12-hook are extremely rare. Most of my matches have good survivors who know how to loop and mindgame - they are not easy downs. If I never camped, tunneled or slugged in any of those matches, I would never get a single kill because these are all strategies for applying needed additional pressure on the survivor team. For all those survivor-only players who claim that it's easy to win without ever camping, tunneling or slugging, please provide links to your instructional gameplay videos so we can all see how it's done.

Go play a single player game if the thought of someone defeating you in a video game upsets you this much.
