For those that want the numbers on Thrill of the Hunt...
Note: Assuming Thrill is at full power.
W/o **CS | it's 46.6 to cleanse |
---|---|
W CS | it's 66.67 |
*Blessing W/o CS | it's 93 |
Blessing w/ CS | it's 133.34 |
Also note: Penti can restore a Thrill of the Hunt stack, so cleansing a totem isn't guaranteed to knock a stack off.
*Blessing's 50% penality only applies if one tries to bless the hex totem. Trying to bless a dull will be the same speed as cleansing it.
**CS - Calm Spirit
Old Version
W/o CS | 28 |
---|---|
W CS | 40 |
Blessing W/o CS | 56 |
Blessing w/ CS | 80 |
Sidenote: I didn't round. All the answers to the bottom were whole numbers. Weird.

Please also do Counterforce so we can highlight how little it actually changes for the first totem

Counterforce Times. Remember Thrill gets weaker the more totems cleansed and Counterforce gets stronger the more totems you cleanse.
Times Default/Thrill of the Hunt
1: (14÷1.2=11.66)/(46.66÷1.2=38.8)
2: (14÷1.4=10)/(31.81÷1.4=22.72)
3: (14÷1.6=8.75)/(24.13÷1.6=15.08)
4: (14÷1.8=7.77)/(19.44÷1.8=10.8)
5: (14÷2=7)/(16.27÷2=8.13)

I wouldn't look at the blessing speed too much. You don't have to bless a hex totem. You don't even have to break a hex totem, but most times it's better to.
1 -
I just wanted it there in case anyone was curious. You should never bless through Thrill, and especially shouldn't try to bless a hex through Thrill. And you outright should never use Calm Spirit.
Checks out. But as I mentioned in one of my notes, you can counter Thrill getting weaker by using Penti.
For the sake of those curious, max CF vs Max Thrill.
46.67÷2= 23.34 seconds (rounded up). What a great benefit you'll likely never see.

the old version section should have 28 seconds to cleanse without CS not 24
1 -
You would be... correct. Oops.
1 -
And what does CS now mean?
0 -
Also, how do you get to 46.6 seconds. Isn't it 14 x 1.7 which would equal 23.8 seconds?

Calm Spirit. A survivor perk that decreases your interaction speed with chests and totems by 30%.
1 -
I know what the Perk does, it's just that abbreviatons aren't really helpful for such cases and are rather confusing.
2 -
It's not a 70% increase to the cleansing time, it's a 70% reduction to the cleansing speed. You are cleansing the totem at 30% of the normal speed basically, which takes a long time. (14 / 0.3)

Well, the real reason for the abbreviation is that I copy and pasted from my discord DMs after I accidentally posted this page with just the title and nothing else. The person in my DMs specifically asked about Calm Spirit, so I have a with and without.

CS with a boon against TOTH…oh god, its 13 and a half seconds longer than old invocations when it took 2 minutes solo.
0 -
Max counterforce is actually 300% it doesn't stop after 5 of course the only way to get it is to cleanse 5 dull or hex totems along with all 5 Rekindled Totems of course after cleansing 9 totems your speed will be 14÷2.8=5 seconds to cleanse the final and 10th totem
0 -
And that is one of the many reasons to remove the cleansing/blessing/chest opening penalty.
1 -
I already made a thread about Counterforce and how useless it is. :D
