Devs should make a community map maker system.
Let the players duke it out for best map designs. Would probably be more efficient for them in the long run.

i've always thought about a system like this for the longest time. i used to actually greybox map designs for fun because i was patiently waiting for the day BHVR allows the community to chip in and make new environments.
truthfully, i think BHVR would benefit from allowing passionate members of the community to create for them beyond the artists. this would allow the community to be heard for changes as well as showcasing the talent amongst us. :D1 -

on a technical level it doesn't require much changes besides making already too tall to see over walls connect to a roof

You can all jump into Unreal Engine right away and start making a map, bHVR does not need to make a map maker engine for you.

They could implement it into custom games, so it is easily accessible for normal players.
With such a system, if they allow feedback for custom maps, they could also implement most popular maps into base game.1
