The way the scratch marks are scattered is strange.

In response to a question on the display of the scratch marks on the official X account in Japan, they replied, "At this time, we believe that the way the red scratch marks are displayed is normal. We have not been able to confirm any issues."

Does this mean that the feedback was insufficient and the bug was not recognized? Or has the way it is displayed itself been changed without us noticing? Since the Blood Moon event, the current situation in Japan where the scratch marks are scattered here and there and are cut off, making them difficult to track, has been a hot topic, and today, the official account announced that it is "normal," causing confusion in the Japanese DBD community.

Will they ever go back to the easy-to-see scar mark like before? The effect of the Predator has also been changed, so the scar mark doesn't seem to be very useful as a clue to find survivors. In particular, it has a big impact on some killers such as Spirit and Dark Lord, so I would like them to go back to the way they were before.

This could have been shadow nerfed but I hate how they do that and I'm in Canada. Been complaining about them for sometime now.

This can't be intended I lost someone because of this and they hand nothing to screw up scratch marks in their build. This is a problem that needs to be looked into. I was on The Game.

I can't see examples of what's going on here, but I imagine scratch marks are generated randomly in the vicinity of running survivors. They're probably weighted to show up closer to the survivor's path than farther away. If that's the case, there's probably a probability that they'll occasionally appear misleading. But that's just a guess; could be entirely wrong :/

Not sure what you mean but I was on his rear end for a lot of the chase then I lost him because I couldn't figure out where he went around a corner. They shouldn't be like that.

You do know Survivors do the Run, Stop, Run, Stop, Walk, Run, Stop, Walk ?
Like are you guys sure its not just Survivors do that? Like if a Survivor ran in a straight line?

Many players have uploaded videos in the X quotes section, but even though the survivor continues to run, the wound marks are stuttering.

Its not different here in europe. Scratch suddenly became way harder to see and are scattered in weird patterns.
They lead to a path where the survivor never ran to and not the direction he did acturally ran to. It has been hard to adapt to that

True, scratches sometimes confuse me, I guess it's bugged rn. I like to play as a Vecna and I can't shot with skulls in a right direction because of bugged scratches

I'm glad it's not just me.

Survivors have straight up just disappeared after rounding a corner because I can't tell which direction the scratch marks are going.
