I joined this forum to complain about Decisive Strike.
Over the months I've made hundreds of posts conplaining about Decisive Strike. I've done nothing but moan about it.
I am glad its gone. Thank you for that.
However now even I have to admit that Enduring shouldn't work against it. It's literally worthless. If the point is to be anti-tunnel then Enduring should not negate that stun.

I agree, Also the timer should be slightly longer.

I'll make you a deal. Enduring doesn't effect DS now, but if any other survivor gets downed other than the one that has DS active, it deactivates. If a different guy goes down, that means you weren't tunneled. Now you get your stronger DS if you are being tunneled and this change guarentees it will ONLY be used for tunneling, of which currently it is not. Deal?

If it didn't apply to Billy or Nurse that would be fine by me.

I also really didn't like DS. It felt unfair some got easy mode due to the perk and could easily bully and throw the game with it. I also think either Enduring shouldn't affect it or it should be back to its old times (4 seconds I believe). Either or seems fair to me.

Hey, that's my idea that you liked so much :P

Well then you should make a thread about Billy and Nurse because now you aren't wanting it for tunneling purposes. You are just wanting a strong perk against strong killers. That isn't what your thread is about.

Sorry couldn't remember where I had seen it, props to you then. It's a great idea. It's current state punishes killers still that aren't tunneling and your change would fix that very well.

Billy can zoom back to the hook, M1 you to tunnek you down. Turn around, instasaw the guy who unhooked you and then pick you up for another hook.
It's tunneling and your proposed theory wouldn't work in this scenario. Same for the Nurse.
Others killers however, much more unlikely that they're going to be able to do that.

Then that is not tunneling. Someone else made a stupid save and your teammate played badly if he actually pulled that stunt off.
Also, that is then a killer issue, NOT a perk issue.

How is it not tunneling? He goes out of terror radius then comes zooming back at 200mph.
It's a killer issue but that killer can still use the same perks as everyone else and is still affected by survivor perks the same as everyone else so...

If he waited and timed his save as soon as is zoom goes off to leave you would have been unhooked and walked some distance before he can even zoom back. ie a bad play if he was on you already during unhook. He zoomed back because he saw a save and there you both were. He isn't going to just stare at you and wave because he doesn't want to be a tunneler. Your teammate gave him a chance and he capitalized. "Tunneling" is when he literally ignores everyone else and goes only for you.
If you were the last one hooked and you decided to walk over next to him should he not hit you because "tunneling". That's essentially what you're equating here.
If that same scenario happened to me I wouldn't be blaming the killer, I'd be blaming the survivor for a stupid save. The killer just took was put in front of him.
Every killer can use the perks so vouch for changes to that killer not the perk just because there's a couple exceptions.

No, Billy players tend to hover around in areas where they can make it back to the hook in a direct line. They'll often zip back and forth just waiting for the tunnel because Billy can do that.
Rushing unhooks is a bad idea I wouldn't advocate that, and even then Billy can easily turn around and zoom back. You say you can walk some distance, umm not very far and it's easy to find injured survivors who have just been unooked.
Tunneling is going for the guy who literslly just came off the hook so you can get them on the next hook stage and eliminate someone from the game as quickly as possible. Most killers will ignore the rescuer to tunnel the unhooked survivor or at most give them a hit then persure the unhooked survivor. When you have a killer with unlimited instadowns though it's easy to knock someone else down if they're in the area.
Its like "well I was just sprinting back here to tunnel this guy as soon as he got off the hook bur I spotted this other guy in the area so gave him a quick instadown. See guys!!? Totally not tunneling because I got someone else while I was busying tunneling the other guy".

Him going out of his way to "tunnel" and your teammate putting your body in front of him are two different things. Just because he took the free hit that was handed to him doesn't mean he's a tunneler. Billy is also highly loopable anyway.
This scenario you are playing out isn't tunneling, it's a bad save from a teammate. There are plenty of chances to save in the scenario you're describing, he just did it poorly.

Crusader, save your breath.
Blueberry "has experience" in this game with only SWF with all 4 survivors running Adrenaline, Decisive, Self-Care, Borrowed-Time, insta-heals, flashlights... ALL in the same trial no less!
Oy vey.

Hard to make the difference between bait threads and legit survivors balance talking.
Just a coincidence, of course.

Yeah seems so. Killers going straight after the unhooked guy...*a few mental gymnastics later* "its not tunneling guyz!! Also noed isnt a crutch!!"
The forum has always been killer main central. Not surprised the game is in the state it is now since devs read this all day.

Agreed. Whenever someone uses it on me, I can turn around and the survivor has gotten 2 steps away. Without Enduring btw.

Of course its tunneling, afterall thats what survivors define it as. And when that happens to be the smartest thing to do for the killer, then he's right to be a "noob filthy sweaty tryhard tunneler".
And when all Billies playa certain way, why dont survivors adapt to that?

Because the way to adapt is to just not unhook, which is no fun for anybody.
