Unmasking Neglect: Why the Arab Player Base Deserves Recognition and Support in Dead by Daylight
Dear BHVR team and fellow players,
As an Arabic player who has invested countless hours into Dead by Daylight, I find myself increasingly disappointed by how little consideration is given to our region and community. The Arab world makes up a passionate segment of the player base, yet there’s an undeniable sense that we’re being left out of the conversation.
One glaring issue is the lack of localization. Arabic is one of the most spoken languages in the world, yet it’s completely absent from a game with a global audience. This isn’t just about language; it’s about representation. When other communities see their cultures reflected or at least acknowledged, it fosters a deeper connection to the game. Unfortunately, that connection feels out of reach for us.
And then there’s the technical side of things. The removal of the Indian servers has been a massive blow to players in the Gulf and surrounding regions. For many of us, those servers were our only option for a relatively smooth experience. Now, we’re stuck dealing with lag, high ping, and disconnects that ruin the experience altogether. It’s not just frustrating—it’s isolating.
When Dead by Daylight prioritizes other regions for improvements and resources but leaves ours in the dark, it sends a message: our enjoyment doesn’t matter. It’s a tough pill to swallow when you’ve supported the game for so long.
To BHVR, this isn’t a complaint from one player—it’s a plea from an entire community. We want to feel like our time, money, and passion are valued. Whether it’s restoring server options or finally implementing Arabic localization, it’s time to show that inclusivity isn’t just a buzzword. We deserve better.

I dont think bHVR installs Servers in regions due to Inclusivity, they know how many players connect from the region and how much money they make from those players. I'm sure if it made great business sense you would have had a server in the region now.

There might be reasons beyond their control. Please don't spam the forums it won't help and be prepared for them to close and merge this with the one that was posted a while ago.

I was gonna say isn't there a thread on the forums about this that is like 200+ comments long mostly made up of new accounts.

I’m sorry, but what exactly is bothering you? If this issue doesn’t resonate with you, that’s fine, but dismissing the feelings and experiences of an entire community isn’t helpful. If you’re not here to support the discussion, I kindly ask you to at least refrain from detracting from it. This is a matter that affects many of us, and we’re simply asking for our voices to be heard.

I understand there might be reasons beyond their control, and I’m not trying to spam. However, when an issue affects an entire community and keeps getting overlooked, it’s only natural for us to raise our voices. Merging threads or closing discussions won’t solve the problem, it only silences the conversation. We’re simply asking for acknowledgment and meaningful action, not just to be brushed aside.

You can see that their names have mostly the same pattern, with most of them with 1 post, lots of them had the exact same amount of upvotes and also lots of the posts were written within 1 minute timeframe between them.
They are either bots or the same person creating multiple accounts. Its pretty clear.

That’s quite an assumption to make. Just because people care about the same issue and are voicing their concerns doesn’t make them bots or one person with multiple accounts. If so many people are speaking up, maybe it’s time to consider that the issue is real instead of trying to discredit it.

I find it kinda interesting that i did explain many points on why they are bots/the same guy but you automatically disregarded all of them and made it seem like i did write that because "people care about the same issue and are voicing their concerns".
By just a quick look at those points and a tiny few more, you can tell they are bots or the same person.

Not to be that guy, but half the comments on that other thread are almost copy-pasted. Some of them are downright identical. Although a handful of them might be real, it's usually pretty clear when you read them.
I'm all for giving the benefit of the doubt, but it's pretty obvious that, for most of them, it's either bots or burner accounts that are used to try to force BHVR to create servers by trying to use their public image of inclusivity against them. Not only is this method morally grey but it also, like this thread shows, makes people skeptical and dismissive rather than help the cause.
