Obsession
Hi,
I have been the obsession 5 games in a row today. This has never happened before, but since the Purge, it is happeninguch more frequently.
I am not running decisive strike or sole survivor. Can anyone explain this. It is really hard to make progress with the new pip system AND being the obsession. And yes, I am a bit of a noob. Any ideas? During my last game two people ran decisive strike and I was still the obsession. :(

Killers running a perk that picks a obsession at random and that's just a show of bad RNG nothing u can do there

I've been the obsession when myself and the killer weren't running any obsession perks -but other survivors were. I really hope this is a bug.

Could’ve been an add-on, like with Myers or Freddy for instance.

Thanks for the info. I noticed today that it seems to happen most often (almost every time) when I am in the new map (purgation), so could be something about the new map build. And yeah, could be a bug - or just my luck. Haha.

Being the obsession doesn't really make your progress slower and the killer doesn't gain some kind of advantage over you if you are the obsession.
The only times when its bad being the obsession its when killer has Rancor which is only activated after all generators were finished and you can still get away , or if they have have Dying Light and may camp you. Other obsession perks the killer has are good for the obsession.
