Especially when it can easily be interrupted repeatedly and revert back to 0 every time. It boggles my mind that anyone can defend this and call it fine. I'm glad most of the community seems to understand though and it's only a minority purposely being obtuse.

It was only partially reverted. You still see the Aura of an item that's currently revealing you, it just went back to 12m instead of 8m.

Probably because the nerf was a little too much, making it kinda useless. It really only ever worked with Franklin's and it really only ever needed to just show a white aura of where the dropped item was; the actual perk itself was fine. It was not being able to counter with knowing where the item was that was problematic.
I definitely agree Thrill needs at least a partial reversion or some sort of nerf before Bone Chill. The way it is now isn't okay, but I don't think it needs to go back to where it was either - nobody used it when it was 10%. This is why I think 12% is the sweet spot, not too much nor too little. It's kinda like how MFT still gives the speed boost but you have a conditional on it, or like how they partial-basekitted some Killer addons.

If you are blind, does the white item still show up? Is the item showing itself different than an aura? Someone asked me here at work and I actually have no idea lol

Not from my perspective. That's only the first totem, and if it's Thrill you break, you no longer have to worry about it.
I feel like most of y'all are either playing dumb with this perk, or you're trying to protect the mega casuals who can't even process doing gens, let alone totems.

I guess not. I guess are arguments were enough to convince them for once. But they had to appease casual survivors somehow, so that's where the Chucky nerf and stuff like that come in. And I doubt that if the outrage continues over Thrill, the devs won't just give in. It happened with Freddy, Spirit, Wraith, the "gen kick meta," Pain Res, etc. If they just complain long enough, BHVR will come to their rescue and nerf the thing they're complaining about (instead of them getting better), which they'll still lose to afterwards btw.

I don't play anymore, but I know the game enough to know that 47 seconds to (maybe) remove a perk is insane.

You have to assume it's DH. if you don't, by the time it procs, it's ACTUALLY too late

and if it's the Thrill you break, you no longer have to worry about it.
Hex: Undying would like a follow-up conversation after Pentimento's finished.
People are not "playing dumb with this perk", you are either blind to or blatantly ignoring completely busted synergies.

Perks shouldn't play the game for you. I get it feels great not having to lift a finger because the hexes are doing all the work, but it's not only survivors who need to try in this game while you cruise along on easy mode. There's only one person playing dumb about this perk. You wouldn't be defending it to the death the way you are if you weren't getting something out of it. No one cares this strongly about a bad perk, so no one believes you when you're trying to downplay it.

yep everyone knows this perk is broken but ofc it’s fine because it’s survivors fault for not playing in a sweaty swf and bringing counterforce and leader
