I do enjoy my m1 killer pallet chewer/haste build:

    • Nemesis/Friends Til the End
    • Game Afoot
    • Brutal Strength/Shadowborn
    • Slowdown or one of the above for more shenanigans.

You always gun for the obsession. FttE/Nemesis helps you ensure you can get in chase with obsessions consistently.

You then break pallets to get the Game Afoot haste to stick on people. If you get Shadowborn at the same time as well, you basically get Legion Feral Frenzy hard zoomies for 10 seconds 😁

Very useful against WoO pre throwers 😁😁😁

Reminds me of what I've been running recently. Lethal Pursuer + FttE + Rancor + Grim Embrace (Should've put this in the start of the thread; my fault)

Need a good pallet build so I'll have to try this out when I get home. Nemesis + Game Afoot seems stupid nasty

Ah Rancor lottery, I dig it ^^

I tend to do better on stealthy killers with it. I like it a lot on Pig, cause pre-throwing causes Pig a LOT of grief. Ghost Face is fun with it too, though you definitely need some slowdown on GF to help :D

    Either way, GL bro! ^^

a gen perk, (eruption or surge so I don’t need to focus so much on gens.), I’m all ears, (knowing what mind game to play or if I should just run at them), then 2 killer specific perks, like aura for Vecna, chase for neme, or gen for trapper.

But all in all you just want to find the perks and play style that suits you. Experiment and just have fun is key to any build.

No way out, plaything, pain res and grim embrace, the "anti tunnel killer build"

I love running no perks or addons for a few games from time to time. It helps me keep my core killer skills up to par without relying on perks to do the heavy lifting for me. Yes, I will lose some games that I could have won with 4 slowdown, but going in with the intention to practice my skills rather than win 100% of the time feels great. Plus is 7 or 8 hook states really a loss?

I have a… What I think is a good gen regression build kinda similar. Deadlock (Recently I've been using Surge instead) + Eruption + Pop Goes + Undone. When it works it works and when it doesn't I cry

Everyone gets BP in the end perks or not. However sometimes it feels good to style on a swf with a REALLY good build lol

    100%

It’s so fun getting a real feel for the essence of a Killer playing this way.

How do you like using the addons that are detrimental to your power like padded jaws etc.? They’re my guilty pleasure.

I have two builds for the Plague that I love running.

The first is: Batteries Included, Thanatophobia, Fire Up, Hex Noed.

I got the idea when going from fountain to fountain felt like I was doing some giant pentagram ritual spell. That led to my fascination with the concept of the Plague as one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. I wanted to translate the idea of things getting worse for the Survivors as time went on. So in this way as Survivors get infected, as generators complete Plague gets stronger and Survivors get weaker. Even once the gates are complete Noed becomes this final piece that transforms the trial into a final apocalyptic setting. Bonus points if it’s egc and the Survivors are brave enough to cleanse the totem.

And for when I feel evil: Infectious Fright, Dark Devotion, Unforseen, Hysteria

Very interesting- Respect for having more thought than "must gibe survivor swirly" behind a build.

Batteries included is a very underrated perk IMO and the synergy in that build is very nice, I've been looking for some way to make batteries work for me and this might be it. Good stuff

    • Stbfl
    • Lethal
    • BBQ
    • Surge

Works best on m1 oriented killers like Freddy, Doctor, Wraith, Sadako and Piggy

Since a bunch of people here think I'm JUST a Killer Main and my opinions don't matter…

I've been enjoying Coup and Thunder lately. I go NYOOOMMMMMM :D

i'm currently using Agi+Corrupt+Pain Res+Grim (or Eruption instead of Grim) for my Oni winstreak and it's serving me good

I main Sadako and I love pallet eater builds and breaking walls. Lately I've been doing a lot of:
Brutal Strength, Fire Up, Bamboozle, Superior Anatomy
Or if I'm feeling cheeky: Brtutal Strength, Fire Up, Enduring, Spirit Fury
I've just been using her brown addons to try to get some mind games at loops.

I also sometimes enjoy being sneaky and giving survivors jumpscares and have a build saved as:
    Huntress Lullaby, Overcharge, Insidious, Gearhead
Pinwheel addon and Murky Reagent, though I have too many anniversary cakes…

First two perks keep survivors more focused on the gens. Gearhead will let you know when/where a survivor is working on a specific generator. Pinwheel allows you to sneak up to them without a lullaby. Insidious is also funny to hit survivors when they think you have left, but you haven't. Find a good spot to wait, stand in place, and then manifest to get rid of your lullaby.

Right now most evil build I am really enjoying is:

    • Jagged Compass
    • Floods of rage
    • Gift of Pain
    • Leverage

I really hope they won't remove Compass interaction with unhooking scourge perks. Will be kinda useless after it…

    Consider Thrilling + Grim Embrace.

im a hardcore demo main, but my build has usually always been perkless with rat liver as my only addon xd

Hex: Plaything, Trail of Torment, Coup de Grace, and filler, usually I go with agitation.

Make yourself a ninja and move through the night. Between trail and plaything, there's no TR for a good bit of the game.

I use Naughty bear primarily so he's already super quiet.

Coup is… just fun lol. But this build has been super effective for me,

What I have been using lately is Pentimento, Plaything, Pain Resonance, and Dead Man's Switch. When the killer I am playing has consistent stealth in their power, I switch Pentimento and Plaything for Grim Embrace and Surge. It works pretty well, unless it's a really coordinated SWF, but I mean, what wins a good SWF anyways?

    A 'gooder' Killer lol.

I wish there was a 2v6 mode, that was more serious like normal 1v4. With the right tweaks, it could be really fun and actually competitive, assuming BHVR sells the rights to dbd. :/

    Playing myself my favorite build.

    Lethal/Franklins/Genetic Limits/Surge

w/Crew Manifest & Denied Requisition Form addons.

Some would argue Rapid Brutality but I'm slipstreaming teleport very consistently so I personally don't find M1 speed boost that useful on me.

spirit | Game Afoot, rancor, No way out, Spies from the shadow or info perk of choice.

It is a lot of fun and I use the green and yellow recovery add-ons. Also, it helps when I have a really bad game <I don't tunnel often so two to 3 people are usually left alive> or get a sweat stack with map offerings.

I actually enjoy 2v8 way more nowadays. Having no perks actually feels good as killer since you don't have to deal with all the BS survivors have nowadays, with little detriment for you since all good killer perks were nerfed anyways. Also, it's way rarer to find an 8 man swf than a 4 man, so I guess the most unbalanced thing in the game is kinda fairer in 2v8.

KwF is the greatest thing to come to dbd in a while. Me and my buddy who doesn't play dbd nearly at all were actually smoking 2v8's like it was nothing. Coordinated killer plays are very satisfying.

Stbfl, rapid brutality, machine learning and pwyf. I really enjoyed it but I normally run this on clown or trickster with their movement add-on increase.

I call it “The Gen Destroyer”

Slap a survivor on a hook. Kick Gen. Now it’s hit with Pop. Call of brine, overcharge and eruption. (Eruption as insurance incase they sneak back on)

    Say goodbye to that gen.

I love gen regression with pop and eruption. Especially when doing dmg gen challenges; watching eruption proc will never fail to satisfy me.

I do quite basic build on most of my killers: brutal, pain res, surge and i change the last perk between killers, mostly bamboozle, pop

I change builds a lot, but the Impossible Skill Check Doctor alongside my Hag build (STBFL, Surge, Corrupt, Monitor) are ones I use more.

My go to brainless build was:

    Brutal strength

    Iron maiden

    Bamboozle

And of course our Lord and saviour, LIGHTBORN. 😎

Just action speed ups and the Lord. Nothing truly strong but convenient helpers.
