Is it really? It's going from 70% to 60%. This is 46 seconds to cleanse a totem to 35 seconds.

Im just happy they are trying 12% instead of just nerfing to 10% and not adding its BP back.

That's a pretty significant downgrade, especially when successive totems are shorter than that too.
I'd be willing to bet this is significantly less obnoxious to face than the current version.

I'm pretty sure this version will be fine, at 5 stacks before it was about a 19 seconds buff over the 10% version which was way too much but now it's only an extra 7 seconds which doesn't seem that crazy.

I honestly thought it was just fine at 10% with the BP bonus, but I suppose that ship has sailed. This should definitely feel nicer to play.

Funny thing that just crossed my mind: remember when Prove lost its BP bonus and they nerfed the values at the same time? It's funny that the approach to Thrill has been 'of course we have to increase it for compensation'.
But I think 12% should be fine.

Given BHVR's track record with these things it's truly a Christmas miracle it didn't go back to 10%. I think 12% is perfectly fair so this is a good change.
Although I doubt survivors think so because they keep giving up whenever I run a hex builds now RIP.

35 seconds is feasible to do, and Counterforce drops this to 29.1s. This is basically old TotH level, which I think we can all agree is perfectly managable.
The problem of the previous version was 47s base, and it was still 39s even with Counterforce... and so many killer interactions made it basically impossible to cleanse, even if the killer wasn't committing to protecting totems...
They could just play normally, guarding hexes as and when and still succeed, whereas now, committing to a chase actually gives genuine windows survivors can deal with totems.

Yeah, it means that Doctor isn't as omni-opressive with static blast to interrupt. It also means that Singularity's add-on, broken security key, will see less use as the emped cameras will not reboot in time if a survivor is cleansing a totem.
I think its a better solution than the sledgehammer approach that could have been done when it comes to balancing. Like for example, they could have instead nerfed Doctor by making static blast have a longer cooldown like 48 or 49 or 50 seconds if they chose not to fix TOTH. I don't think the players would have been happy about that.1 -
I haven’t seen anyone play prove since then. The bloodpoint bonus was the only reason why my friend ran it. After the nerf it didn’t even allow doing gens together efficiently anymore and it wasn’t better to just split up instead of doing gens together.

I remember that. It’s the only BP-giving perk that’s been nerfed to lose both its BP and has had a numbers change that didn’t receive a compensation. The devs literally just took away the BP and made it a worse version of itself. Lmao

idk, i feel like i am just going to lose all hexes, i already had games where people killed 2 hexes and i barely won with 1 gen remaining. this likely makes you lose all perks vs good teams. strangely enough , i think the worse players will still lose.

It can't be defended by an AFK Doctor now.
Face the Darkness still makes it uncleansable under certain conditions, but that was true for the pre-buff version too. 12% is a nice middle ground and perfectly fine imo.
