Is it me or Houndmaster is finally in playable state?
Didn't play a real match yet, only few matches in custom with bots to test it out, but first time I had fun to play her.
0.15 seconds camera redirect and faster dog's vault made a lot of difference, but also I didn't notice any bugs.
I will test her in real matches later, don't think she will perform good against strong survivors even after these changes, but seems like bearable against average survivors.
Create this post to ask how everyone feel about her after update?

I've been playing her since she came out and frankly, she's a lot better now, she's more playable and most of the dog bugs have been fixed. I have been noticing that the dog gets stuck in various areas of the new Ormond map though, but other than that, The Houndmaster is a lot better now.

i would say so! gameplay both as and against her feels much more responsive and accurate. i think she still needs a little more time before she is brought up to speed, but i quite like her as i did when she released. :]

Having less slowdown when cancelling a dog command is a small thing that feels like a big improvement. Can't comment on whether the dog feels better or not since it's still very difficult to grab survivors with him but at least they increased the hitbox to about Wesker size, I think.
The dog still has some pretty bad pathing during Search though, and locking onto Search targets is still very finicky and painful. That locking onto targets is necessary to give the dog any decent range on his Search makes it all the more annoying.

She feels MUCH snappier and I don't feel like I need to wait 5 to 6 business days before the dog comes back after I send it to do something.
It still gets stuck sometimes but I feel like I'm getting a lot more grabs when I do send the dog out. She's not all the way there yet imo like her add-ons still need another pass because she only has 2-3 decent ones and I still think the dog should run back to her quicker and I'd increase the dog hitbox by another 0.1 meters but I'm liking how quickly they're improving her and the significance of the improvements.

"No, it's just you" @ Dude who was 5th after four people who said otherwise.

shes starting to become playable however theres still a bunch of things wrong with her.
Snug gets stuck on things still. Search aiming at objectives is very difficult. Search pathing is extremely bad

Yeah, agree.

I think she is finally getting into a decent state.
The last few things which need to be fixed are Houndsense (still does very little), bugs (is Snug still unwilling to travel between floors?) and her add-ons, since some of them would need large improvements.

She feels better now. My dog got stuck today though when I sent him out to chase. He just stood there. The power was available to use and everything.

She feels much smoother now and finally comes across as mostly finished, rather than stuck in a pre-QA stage like before. That said, there are still some lingering issues, like the dog’s pathing in search mode. Most importantly, snapping into a generator during search mode feels harder now, it takes me around 5 seconds to find the sweet spot, whereas it used to be much easier. Maybe it’s just me, but it’s frustrating.
I also really dislike the Knotted Rope change. They outright admitted they gutted the addon so people wouldn’t use it until they fix it. It’s the same thing they did to Skull Merchant and, presumably, Chucky. This sets a terrible precedent, it’s basically disabling a character or perk without officially doing so, which means casual players don’t even realize they’re being scammed. It’s one of the more anti-consumer practices BHVR is engaging in, and it’s frustrating to see people just letting it slide.

I think she plays better and she is better for sure, but I don't know yet if she is even decent killer yet, need more time for that. But for sure she is not D tier anymore at the very least.

She feels a lot better, although I think her redirect could be bugged. When I flick instantly the dog sometimes runs in the completely other direction than I wanted, I also have to say it could be that I just overflick very far because the dog is third-person and I'm playing chucky as example with 5k dpi and wolf-form with 2,4k so Idk if I just don't play on the right dpi with the dog yet. I can't really see it sadly because it's so quick.

I also play with 5k DPI on all killers, got amazing flicks today in matches. Probably just overflicking.

Honestly after playing her tonight I would say she is low-mid B after changes. Definitely not one of the worst killers anymore. It's very surprising for me, because I bought this killer only to make achievements and forget about her, but after changes I had crazy fun with her.

Much snappier. I was personally worried we had another Twins situation before the holiday but the devs at least addressed a lot of the major pain points. Not perfect but hey even though this should’ve been done in the PTB it’s something to be happy about.

Well I played constantly with 6k when I played blight a lot, but then I started with huntress and deathslinger and now I'm normally on 2,4k on most killers and on specific ones on 5k. Maybe I just try her with 5k and I'll see if I hit better like this xD
