Keep your sweaty comp mind out of the event queue
The question if dbd is comp or casual is never answered.
But if you need a bigger sign that something is meant to be casual then actual snowmans walking across the map then I don't know how to help you.
If you want to play comp or cannot breathe without tunneling at 5 gen's then at least go to the basic queue.
You are not utilizing anything the event is giving to you so why bother casual players?
We have seen this in lights out with people camping or playing legion and we saw it in 2v8 where killers where on comps tunneling hard. (I get that 2v8 is kind of special because 2 killers but still)
We are in for snowskull fights and snowmans. If you don't care about the event then don't play in it. Let people have their fun. The event is literally made for casual playing.

When I said "play comp or cannot breathe without tunneling" I was reffering to survivors playing in a comp swf and killers who are either comp or just tunneling at 5 gens.
What I want to say is: Both sides have people to blame

I have got quite a lot of chill killers during the event (funny is most were russians for some reason).

Sadly the BP is why they are in the event and playing the way they are because that is all they care about. Will get worse with the Bloodhunt and Blood Feast.

Don't get why you're just targeting killers. Survivors are super sweaty in event modes too. Also, as long as the mode has rewards tied to it, expect everyone to play it.

I agree. Having some real try hard killers in the event. I did however, get a nice one last night that we had a snowball fight and snowman dance which was alot of fun. They were sweet and we gave them kills for that reason.

In the case of the Lights out event, yes.
The challenge of lights out was no scratch marks and low vision. Playing legion would simply bypass this because of the killer instinct telling your where survivors are without them ever knowing you're getting close.
It was a very poor decision to leave legion active for lights out. It may be smart on the initial thought to utilize a killers power but when you cannot take the challenge and therefor need to bypass it then why even bother playing lights out.
Because Legions power the killer had an unfair advantage in the match.1 -
Maybe I have not phrased this well enough but by saying "playing comp or cannot breathe without tunneling" I was actually reffering to comp teams and tunnel killers (I don't call killers who tunnel hard against solo q comp because comp because a lot of noncomp killers are tunneling hard too)

It's Survivors too.
People posting threads like this always seem to forget that.
Everyone's doing it, Killers are not inherent sinners here any more than Survs are saintly saints.

We're long past the days of people playing chill during events. Fact both sides have people who play to win which ultimately makes events nothing more than just skins.

I agree.
The fact that people call me survivor main in threads like this and killer main in othere where I talk about the other side kind of reassures me that I do play both sides enough to actually know the pain points of both sides.

That seems to be the trend: If you dare defend Killers and criticize Survs too much you're a Killer Main, but if you criticize Killers too much and seem to ignore how Survivors can be problematic, you're a Survivor Main. I once had the dubious designation of being a Killer Main on Reddit but a Survivor Main on Youtube. Brother I posted my videos to Reddit before I stopped using Reddit,
