M1 Pinhead should not be allowed.

Any Killer that relies on Solo Queue to not know what to do with the Box, does not use 50% of his power and only uses the passive chain hunt and M1s Survivors should not be in this game.

Instead successfully landed chains via portals should build up the progress to the next successful chain haunt.

There are Killers I am proud to play with my mates with, but Pinhead played this way is absolutely awful.
BHVR please, you have had pinhead on the upcoming changed before, you got to stop these pinheads who dont use the power at all. Or atleast then make the Killer Huntress Speed.

The issue with this is people who don't know what to do with the box. That is a player issue. You find the box, you solve the box and now Pinhead no longer has a passive slowdown. Better yet, he doesn't find the box himself to start a chain hunt.

You're asking the devs to change a killer because people don't know how to counter him when its an easy enough counter.

Its not a player issue. the player will get killed and get down into a lower MMR, the game will continue as normal.
How is this an issue for the Player if they cant care less about how a killer works or kill them. They will be on to the next trial soon.

There is no incentive to actually learn to play against the a Killer which 2% of Killers play.

Rather its better to fix the Killer, make the gameplay intuitive, make sure your players know how to play the game.

Or just provide better tips? Pinhead is one of the much more interactive killers to face. He doesn't need fixing when there's already a solution. You're making excuses for bad players that were going to die regardless if it was Pinhead or not. Blight is played so much more, but that doesn't immediately make him easier to play against.

Why would a better tip work better if the player has no incentive to get better at the strategies? Just go next who cares.

By that logic every killer in the game should be changed when survivors decide it's too much of a hassle to learn how to counter a killer.

You fix going next, not gut everything for the people who do that.

his chains so worthless because they break in 1 second. you slow yourself more then actual chain slowing them. you lose distance for missing them more so than reward. I assume that after get through freddy rework, pinhead needs positive changes on proactive using his ability because his ability sucks vs good players,

I disagree with the OG post while I do see where you are coming from. This boils down to behaviour providing a better tutorial system for each killer on how their powers work. Sidenote customs against killer bots would also help this as well so survivors can practice against certain killers.

Agreed, I quickly found out how futile it is to even use those chains thats why I stopped playing him.
    bHVR never took the hint.

Like I would say feedback on why a person would quit a Killer would be valuable, but anyone here would argue against it.
Same way with Singularity and now hes like made way more easy to play with his last patch.

Speaking as someone who has this Killer in my rotating roster, Pinhead IS just a fancy M1 Killer.

His chases go long. His chains are more for hindering, nothing else. The Box can be just as much taken hostage and used against him as he can use it against Survivors. He doesn't really "rely on SoloQ not knowing what to do", his counter is there, it's just harder to coordinate against a Killer that requires teamwork if you're not all working as a team together. Something that happens often in SoloQ.

We cannot, should not, and must not change Killers and their playstyles based on them having counters that people find too hard. Rather we should educate how to play against those Killers better instead. It starts with teaching people to go for the Box in this case as if he has no control on the Box, he basically has no passive slowdown and is just a fancy M1 Killer with a hindering tool.

Your title here is nonsensical, OP. Because Pinhead IS an M1, so you're not actually saying "M1 Pinhead should not be allowed". You're actually saying, "Pinhead shouldn't be in the game." And that's not a fair thing to say about a high B low A tier Killer that maybe 2% of people play to the maximum of his capabilities, because he's finicky and difficult and not a lot of people like his gameplay loop. If anything, Pinhead could use a pass on his power, his chains, his addons, his gameplay loop, and more - all as BUFFS and FIXES to issues he has to make him more enjoyable to play as well as vs.

Then we agree in what should happen to Pinhead, but for different reasons. But you are reading way way too much into the title.
