Moving snowman are problematic
The body blocking is one thing but getting stuck because of them is wild. Also seeing them spawn on top of things like boxes or goop piles in midwich is great -_-

He just wants to be your friend. ☺️

this year snowman's are goated. They pull up and block a window out nowhere mid chase just for the memes.

I got trapped by one last night on survivor for long enough to get an AFK crow.

Thats what snowsballs are useful for.

I love how one of the biggest current complaints is the AI dog getting caught on everything and BHVR amped it up to 15 AI on a given map getting stuck in random places.

Never bring these back again, BHVR. They ruin chases BOTH sides, randomly. They're instant sandbags, BOTH sides. They suck.
Do something else.

They're not that bad. Just pop every snowman you see with snowskulls. Even if one blocks your path in a chase, pop it with the snowskull. You get 1000 bloodpoints for each snowman you pop with the mistle toe offering. Easy points.

Except that you cant throw them straight down…..

They should have made it so if the moving ones stop for an undetermined amount of time, they despawn. Though if they haven't done that yet for Nemesis's zombies then maybe it's not possible?

exactly. lol
I love the body blocking snowman. ⛄️ 🤣🤣

I think them moving on their own was a bad idea. They're constantly sandbagging you or getting in your way as either role.

I had survivors using them in a very creative way. They ran up to them when in small passages or corners and tried to squeeze themselves as close to them as possible. This made me auto aim into the snowman.
I applaud this creativity!

BHVR's 3-step plan:
Step 1) Make mistake
Step 2) Double down
Step 3) Repeat step 2
AI didn't work well for Nemesis zombies? Let's make the Knight! Didn't work for the Knight? Let's make the Houndmaster. Didn't work for the Houndmaster? Let's add it to the snowmen!

Don't forget the disconnect bots. They have a disastrous AI lol
Played with a bot Felix on Lerys the other day and he got stuck repeatedly vaulting a pallet until the killer came and put him out of his misery 😭
In all seriousness though, they should stop with killers that rely on AI/NPC pathfinding or whatever it's called. The game isn't built for it and we've seen it flop time and time again.

In all fairness, they have to strike a balance with AI teammates. They can't introduce survivor teammates that can't be mindgamed and loop perfectly.

Personally, I like the moving snowmen. They add a bit of extra chaos into the mix which I find leads to some funny moments. Then again, I never take these event / modifier modes all that seriously and lose most of my trials because I'm too busy wasting time interacting with the snow skulls and snowmen, but I can see them being annoying to some people.
I do wish bot snowmen had a smoother movement animation, though. It's VERY easy to tell the bots apart from those that have an actual player inside, so more observant players will definitely know you're in there.

You just need to move like a bot. Trust me, it works.

Always blocking you in chase when you haven't any snowballs 😟

they're as useless as nemesis zombies. just block your way and lose distance for nothing as killer.
