I play as Freddy and actually love his generic chase music from the survivors perspective. I don't understand why when playing as him I have to listen to something non-suspensful while in chase. It should be the same chase music for both sides like it is for Wesker, Ghostface, Myers, ect.

The chase music needs to be toggleable, between the og music and the unique to killer one.

It would make playing as and against easier on the ears.

Because they're licensed content the devs need permission for each and every proposed change to those assets, and some such as Freddy are notoriously resistant.

It's much easier to with the original content that they have full control over.

Pig needs her own music. Bubba needs another outfit. It does feel like some of the older license's are just forgotten about..

Everyone asked for it but they don't care.

I think it comes down to copyright.

Some licenses seem fine with being played with - Saw, Scream, Alien, RIngu etc. But others are a lot more restrictive.

Yes please. And I’d LOVE to see her get a Saw II inspired outfit. Someone on Reddit (can’t find the post unfortunately) made an awesome concept art inspired by the needle pit.

Pretty sure they have to update their contracts when they add new stuff for licensed Characters which could be costly. I can only assume they haven’t been successful when trying to get cosmetics for Quentin & Freddy as result of licensing issues.

I agree... Myers looks horrible, generic chase themes for iconic franchises (I understand Charlie Clouser doesn't freely give out rights to use Hello Zepp, but even a generic chase theme that has an industrial vibe would be a better representation of the Saw franchise than what we have now), Detective Tapp still has a different character's outfit (that Tapp himself has never worn in canon) as his default, the Nightmare on Elm Street chapter is extremely lackluster...

I'm almost certain the Halloween license holders have changed their minds about game collaborations over the years. I know they used to be strict because they didn't understand videogame stuff at the time but things have changed and I'm sure they'd open the door to more cosmetics and maybe voice lines for Laurie. Since last year we can have Michael Myers do the griddy in Fortnite. Two months ago we got a game (RetroRealms) where the same Halloween 1 Myers and Laurie we have in DBD slash through Lovecraftian monsters and dash through different dimensions.

You're telling me the license holders are now ok with Laurie double jumping and slashing people in half with knitting needles, but they draw the line at her wearing a Christmas sweater? :(

Older licenses don’t bring in money, it would be a waste of time and effort on their part.

What are you basing that on? Mikey for example is one of their most played killers according to their own stats.
