Any solutions to "game freezing while playing as the Blight"?

So approximately since the game moved to never version of the unreal engine me and some other people have the issue that basically prevents us from playing as the Blight.
In a few words any time you are using your power your game can freeze (you still can hear looped sounds like chase music or survivor breathing) so you have to stop it using task manager and deal with DC penalty (even though it is not your fault).
A lot of time passed since then but i still was not able to find any solutions. I saw several people complaining about it on the forum (me too) and steam, but there were no solutions to it.
But i still hope there is some solution to it i was not able to find. Can anyone help with this issue?

    After 8.4.1 hotfix problem this issue still exists.

    After 8.4.2 hotfix nothing changed.

    Tried to install more RAM and run this game from external HDD connected via USB 3.0. Nothing changed. Sadly. Probably problem is somewhere else.
