Artist map brightness still gives me a headache on ranged killer :(

Writing this post because I really love dbd especially ranged killers like artist, huntress and unknown. Unfortunately the artist map brightness in contrast with trying to see auras or focusing for ranged attacks gives me a headache usually by the end of the round.

It really is unplayable for me if I wanna enjoy a good ol' dbd session and I'm not sure what to do. I don't like leaving or giving up but I don't want a headache. Idk why it triggers me :( I've tried lowering my brightness on monitor or using a filter that lowers it but it doesn't help.

    Comparing it with Dead dawg saloon for example that map is fine, so I'm not sure why artist map feels different. Also when it was released I THINK it had different lighting though im not sure and I remember it looking amazing and I didn't have any problems.

    It actually had different lightning in the PTB and it was soooooo much better than what we have right now.

    Yes sniping on eyrie is very hurtful for my eyes as well, I think the brightness with the heatwave effect makes it so bad xD

    100% it should be a little darker, it literally hurts sometimes

    Has anybody at BHVR explained what made them believe midday maps were a good idea?

    The groggy early morning vibes original Coldwind had were immaculate, I still don't understand why it was changed.

    Also getting flashbanged by Eyrie of Crows is incredibly frustrating.

    Like why is it so bright?????

    The look maps in daylight have is pretty bland and bad. Coldwind atmosphere feels too warm and calm, the lightning should be as Dead dawg saloon. Ormond mont resort looked way better (scary and desolate) when the sky was cloudy. While Eyrie of crows is just too damn bright, they should revert it to how it looked on it's PTB.
