(Un)Fun Fact About Boon Totems
There is only two perks in the game that increases the Blessing speed of Boon Totems for yourself (not for others); which is Resilience and Spine Chill. It only increases the Blessing speed by 9% and 6% respectively.
Better Than New can technically increase Blessing speed but only for other players, it does not affect yourself.
(As pointed out by others, Boon: Illumination also gives increased speed to Blessing by 10%, but it requires you to have a lit Boon totem to get this effect… which is even more depressing.)
This means that you can only increase the speed of Blessing by 15%, but it requires you to be injured and within the Killer's line of sight while also being close to them, ultimately making the extra 15% speed useless since you will go down.
How come we havent gotten more perks that increase Blessing speed?

Boon illumination also increases it by 10% but only when you have an active boon (which is bad)

Ngl I forgot about that effect from Boon: Illumination… I dont think it helps either, it unironically is more depressing when you consider that.

3 perks for a 25% bonus, while injured, while being looked at by the killer, while you already have a boon down, so you can place circle of healing 2.8s faster

speak for yourself lol. Exponential clowns on lame killers, shadowstep saves so many health states, CoH makes survivors very aware and enables crazy good resets, and Illumination, while bad, is fun to use in casual party mode swf where you take a confusing level like Hawkins

Dark Theory has its moments too. I abused the hell out of it on closed maps with Blood Pact and Power of Two. Run 3 circles around RPD or Gideon with friend at 114% against 110% killers is insanely fun and sooooooooooo fair.

They should add blessing speed to Leader and Thanatophobia as well. Imo anything that affects cleansing should affect blessing too, except for Counterforce.
