What are your opinion so far on the Houndmaster?

Do you think Houndmaster need any quality of life updates? Does she need more buffs? I'm hoping for a sick skin which changes the pet dog to a bengal tiger.

    Her search mode still needs love. The radius for the dog is too small still and when getting it to snap to gens, totems, gates, whatever, it takes too much effort.

    fix bugs (especially search mode targeting), nerf vault speed, change cooldown to begin when snug ends his action instead of when he reaches the killer (up the chase cooldown back to 5 seconds or potentially even higher to compensate), get rid of the seemingly redundant switch command mechanic (if possible)

    she's stupidly easy to play even on controller now and it's a complete turn off

    She's very strong for how easy she is to play. If you grab someone with the dog and hit them, you can almost immediately follow up with another dog as soon as your attack cooldown is over because of the 3 second chase command cd, which is way too low imo.

    They fixed many bugs and she feels quite a lot better in that regard, but I still find it super finnicky to place the dog on the gen I want, or in the area I want in search mode, that could use some tweaking. And the really annoying issue where you send your dog out, but if you're running away from the dog when it returns it'll follow you but your cooldown won't come back until the dog "catches up".

    The vault speed of the dog is way too fast, it makes many windows and dropped pallets lose/lose with little counterplay for survivors. If the survivor vaults and gets hit during animation, they lose a healthstate, which also looks really weird cause the dog has no animation for biting them, it just kind of bumps into them. If they don't get hit during animation, the dog instantly vaults after them and grabs them on the other side, so Houndmaster can just vault the window or break the pallet and then hit them anyway.

    I think if they nerf the CD on chase, slow down the dogs vault speed, and fix the weird bugs with tracking, she'll be in a good spot.

    She is very buggy but I find her fun to play but very unfun to verse - a problem that I find with a lot of the newer killers. I am only playing the event queue because she is disabled on there so I can avoid her.

    I agree with MrMori that she is a bit over-tuned at present
