Yea that part was dumb.
I would really like them to provide us with the results of some of these questions: which maps to people feel are the most imbalanced, which top 3 killers people say need reworks, etc.
I would also be really interested to see the results of the slugging questions at the end.

I wanted to see questions involving survivor activities that are unfun for killers.
Because it feels like no one cares that I'm often in games where I'm stuck slugging survivors, because the survivors are creating situations where I can't reliably place them on a hook, or where I shouldn't even be picking them up.

I liked the page for the evolving cosmetics / customizations to vfx - terror radius music? - maybe change it?

Yeah it was a long survey! But I’m really excited for some of the “most interested in adding” questions. Like the character voice lines and the stats attached to weapons and stuff.
Also all of the slugging questions. It’s nice to see that it’s at least something on their radar they’re looking into.I hope we get a little shadow pet. That would be so fun!

The worst part is BHVR directly told us that slugging wasn't a problem before the finisher mori, and now we have a bunch of people complaining that the finisher mori is causing way more slugging… and now slugging might need to be nerfed?
Like, this is totally a problem BHVR created themselves, and now killers might need to be nerfed because of it? How is that fair? It would be better to just get rid of the finisher mori, so slugging can go back to being "not a problem".

i like that the player cloud id is used for the survey. by giving the wrong answers you can get banned now.
this survey statement is wrong:
BHVR use a 3rd party provider (surveymonkey) for the survey. the data is at least shared with surveymonkey. that would be ok if it would be correctly stated.

Seriously speaking they will probably nerf the only viable option left for the killers in order to slow down the pace of the game… Slugging. Instead of trying to adress WHY killers do it they prefer to make unviable all the (nasty) stategies that they have (they did it for camping and for tunneling, they will do it even for slugging, it's only a matter of time).

I'd like to say that I sincerely appreciate being asked about the toxicity of people that I play with in the survey.
I know toxicity will always exist in any game, but I appreciate you measuring how many players feel it. Hopefully it can be reduced, even if by a small amount.

I mean, I'm an Onryo main so objectively one of the worst killers for facing good survivor teams and I don't really feel the need to slug. A hook state gives the same pressure honestly.
Of Course I'll admit there are times slugging is the best play, but as long as they don't entirely nerf it into the ground I don't think my matches will be much different.

Unfortunately, I think they're using it to sync up survey responses with how much you've spent on cosmetics. I mean, they basically say so in that disclaimer: "we may combine some of your in-game data such as your purchase history"
BHVR, it feels really gross to weigh responses based on how much someone has spent in the shop. The health and fun of the game should be priority. Just because someone spent more in the shop doesn't mean their opinion should weigh more heavily in your decisions.

If your click the survey link ingame your player id gets transmitted and when you say strong insulting things in the survey you can get banned for that.

The length of the survey was prohibitive for me. My case was special though as I wanted to answer the survey but needed to prepare to have a surgery done on me... so I skipped a bunch of questions.
I think multiple shorter surveys spread out a little in time might be more approachable.

theorically hooks over slug should give a BETTER pressure, but it's not sadly… to further prove my point it's sufficient to see how they gutted the perks for patrolling and slowing down the generators (ruin, pop, overcharge, etc etc) and the perks that reward the killer for doing mixed hooks (hello BBQ): they were one of the FEW reasons that allow people to play more chill generally speaking… Instead of modify the game by rewarding the killer for doing mixed hooks and make good plays they limited themself to make basekit features that punish the killer and are abusable (you try to go for the rescuer, the unhooked survivor bodyblock you with his basekit BT to make an example)

If the unhook uses their BT to take a hit id consider it making a play in game and thus no longer tunneling if I were to chase them instead.
IIt's only tunneling when you're intentionally going after someone off hook. Once they make a play to advance the game, healing, generators, taking a hit they give up their right to call anything tunneling because they are creating interaction with the killer and the killers objectives.

Say that to Ds, otr, babysitter and shoulder the burden... You may be not considering tunneling when you chase a survivor that was unhooked due to purposely bodyblock, but the game will recognize this as tunneling and this is what really matter

I'm not talking about it in terms of how perks work so nothing you said is particularly relevant tbh.
I think those perks should proc in that scenario. What I'm talking about is survivors complaining. And I'm not even a killer main I play survivor more recently but a good amount of killer too.
If you intentionally interact with game objectives directly off hook its not tunneling, it's dumb play by the survivor.

well, for me they shouldn't complain and also those perks shouldn't be active in those cases for the same reason that killers got camping and tunneling nerfed so much… since devs want to punish those kind of "optimal" gameplay because they aren't fun for the other side, they should do that too also with the survivor's strategies as well… but we are talking about a company that has two weights and two measures…

Has anyone mentioned yet that it's really ridiculous to ask your players to check which killers they own, and among that list are Trapper, Wraith, Hillbilly and Nurse?
Four killers that, if you have DBD installed, you literally can't NOT own?

I don't think anyone is currently being punished though? I guess thats the part I don't get?
Perks like decisive strike, in solo q, are just a waste of a perk slot in my opinion, and most perks are OP on a swf because it inherently breaks the balancing of the game. It's not really possible to balance around having solo with no communication and swf that has too much communication.
