Any good alternative healing perks for the event?
Okay so, plot twist is bugged and cant activate in the bone chill event so since Im not very good at using the bug report part of the forums for the issue i just figured I'd see the forums for alternatives
personal favorites besides plot twist i use are normally, bond, for consistent team healing and info, built to last with a stacked medkit and sometimes inner strength but i run that with detectives for a little mini game quest.
Im open to other ideas though so far i just replaced plot twist with iron will since it + dead hard gives a pretty good synergy during the event and allows me to just focus other stuff. i greatly prefer playing healthy though.

You could try taurie s perk or maybe Pharmacy

You're looking for healing yourself, I assume?
The strongest possible combination there right now is Strength in Shadows and Botany Knowledge. SiS on its own is still very good, but Botany pushes it to the point where it's outright faster than someone else healing you and you can heal others faster on top of that, alongside the nice aura reading that SiS provides.
Inner Strength is great, I like to run that with Overzealous so I can kill two birds with one totem and get varied value from totem hunting. I'd recommend a Map with the "killer belongings" addon (or just a Rainbow Map) for finding totems instead of spending a perk slot on it, though.
Medkits are still quite good, too. You can stack charges for multiple heals, or do one charge addon + a syringe for two heals one of which can be used mid chase.
Resurgence paired with any of these things makes healing after unhooks considerably faster and gives you more room to heal yourself from any dropped chase, too.
You can run Self-Care and Botany Knowledge for the most flexible self healing tools, but the end result there is still relatively slow at 30 seconds per heal. Good, but vulnerable to any kind of anti-heal.
Basically the only things I wouldn't recommend are Self-Care on its own, or Pharmacy without some kind of chest build.

The other instaheal perks, or Inner Strength.

Resurgence is a very good healing and anti tunneling perk, together with a medkit you can heal yourself in 4 seconds.
When you want to try something fun, I would try out deception. It is funny every time someone falls for it.

I'm a huge advocate of the Self-Care, Botany, Resilience combo. It's only 4 seconds slower than self healing with a med-kit and basically gives you an infinite med-kit that the Killer can't ever knock out of your hands.

Inner healing is good if you know totems spawns well and a few maps always have one in a particular spot while the other 4 be scattered, also its good to counter vs anti heal builds and nurses. You also gotta pray your team dont take them like cleasing them even though its dull.
The nice part is this perk have use for early middle and even end game when you need heals but your teamates already left and killer guarding gates.
Else strength in shadows even without botany is solid choice. Medkits are garbage cause it take one franklins to ruin it even using the add ons for charges do not help them.

In today's franklins/Weave economy that's not a bad idea

XD yeah franklins been making medkits trash since medkits nerf. When strength came out boy I was happy, though honestly they could have simply just buffed self care and have shadow do something else.. oh well.

3 perks as opposed to 1 item. What can go wrong?

I mean, he can bring a green toolbox with BNP now,

You say that like Resilience and Botany aren't two of the strongest Survivor perks in the game. Resi is one of the best all round utility perks to run and a couple of Botanys can reset a team incredibly quickly. It's a fantastic team perk.
It's true that Resi will only shave 2 seconds off your self heal time tho, so you could always run a dedicated gen perk or something else instead if you don't rate it highly.
I like Plot Twist, but I find all the other self healing perks to have significant down sides or way too many extra steps to activate.
I could, but to be honest I very rarely bring items into a trial. Killers that bring Franklin's make me grumpy, so no item = no problem.

Resurgence + medkit skillcheck combo is my go-to build for healing
3~ sec self heal time with insane amount of charges saved
However, perfect skillchecks are rather tough, and will take a lot of practice to get

Strength in Shadows combined with Botany as Botany of course speeds up your self heals but you can also heal team mates faster at any time.
Or I also like to use We'll Make It to fast heal team mates and Resurgence so I can get very fast heals off hook.
I actually run these perks in these combos myself and on a regular basis.

Sorry I meant resurgence.

Inner Strength is decent, Pharmacy isn't a bad choice either.
