Ive fought against an Alien killer, who never went inside a tunnel, and just being crawler mode very fast.

my qquestion to the developers, whats the point now of tunnels if youre going to have crawler mode very fast?

    I don't think there was an alien buff recently.

    How do you know that Alien never went into the tunnel? Did you follow him during the whole match?

    There haven't been any recent changes to the Xenomorph.

    Keep in mind, when you pick up a survivor while you're in crawler mode the progress for it gets reset back to 75%, not 0. So even if you do not go in a tunnel after hooking it does not take very long to go into crawler mode again.

    The Alien generates 1 charge of Crawler mode per second. In the tunnel and while moving, it's 8 charges.

    The Alien reach the crawling state after 35 charges.

    So it can reach it by just walking or in the tunnel.

    The Ovomorph add on increase the recharge rate by 25% so it takes 28 seconds to charge Crawler mode.

    This timer can only be fully reseted by a flame turret removing Crawler mode.

    Keep in mind, the Alien stops charging Crawler mode when carrying, if you were already in Crawler mode, it locks you at 75% until you stop carrying, so it will regain it's Crawler mode very fast after a hook.

    The Alien has not received any changes since it's early days.
