Wow! Myers Tier II TR is very small
I played against a Myers on Ormond and even though he was in Tier II, I couldn't hear his TR even when we were pretty close together (I was on main building generator, he was walking in the front entrance near where the basement spawns).
I thought for sure he was using Monitor and Abuse with the yellow rabbit add-on but he had neither!
I thought only his stalking was buffed, I didn't realize his TR was reduced.
I don't even think I'll need to run Monitor and abuse with the rabbit when I play him if he's this quiet.

HIs terror radius is still the same, it's just that Myers players usually don't run straight to your location so you feel like his terror radius is bigger than it actually is :)

it has always been 16 m in tier 2 since his release

So then he's only 32m in tier 3? I don't recall the old description saying it was slightly reduced in tier 2. I thought it was only slightly reduced in tier 2 if he was stalking. Either way, I've been playing against him for years and never had him that close with no TR unless he was in Tier 1.

I recorded the match but accidentally deleted it. I wish I could show you.
I did look at his perks and there was nothing that would have given him Undetectable Status.
His add-ons were the Iridescent forever Tier III and the Green add-on that makes you stalk faster.
Perhaps it was a bug or a glitch.... it scared me though.
He hit Tier II almost instantly after we loaded into the match which is not surprising on Ormond for Myers but his proximity to me with no TR was insane.
I was only surprised because of his build. If I had seen the yellow rabbit or Monitor and Abuse, I wouldn't have even made this thread. Something was definitely not right.
Come to think of it, I didn't see his red stain in Ormond main building either. Very strange 🤔
I only remember two of his perks were Bamboozle and Pop Goes The Weasel.

I find this visual reference for various breakpoints of distance very useful.
16m doesnt look far off Ormond entrance to main gen, maybe 14m or so?
Perhaps he had something like PWYFstacked up, or some other haste buff that made his TR seem smaller?

Thats the issue with descriptions, they are not entirely accurate if things can change during the match or if a Killer has special abilities which influence the stats provided.
Myers had and still has 6m Terror Radius in Tier 1 (although you dont hear it, since he is Undetectable in Tier 1), 16m in Tier 2 and 32m in Tier 3. And you should notice him when he is in Tier 2, unless he had M&A and/or Dead Rabbit (I went against a Myers yesterday who used both and he basically popped up right beside me with his 4m Terror Radius… But without those, he is stealthier than other Killers, but not that stealthy that he can surprise you that much).

He was probably running Monitor and Abuse, Dead Rabbit or both
