So what's the point of having a separate event queue?
It's basically the same sweaty antifun sh*t with meta builds, killers, SWF and other things that exist in normal Queue with no smowmen.
So why having SAME queues with no differences? To have snowmen noone cares about and noone interacts with them anyway/

they started it back in the previous anniversary event and I think it’s so people that don’t want to play with the event things (snowmen, the smoke bombs, tricks from anniversary) can still play regular dbd without feeling forced into the event like how it’s been forever. But I do understand the same playstyles but at the end of the day that’s just how this game is gonna be. People want to win and they’ll bring the same boring meta perks every game until a real meta shake up happens and even then people will still use whatever the new meta is. It’s a never ending cycle.

The best example of this would prolly be Chaos Shuffle,
That mode took out the deliberately picked meta builds entirely, leaving just strats if they cared to use them. Players of the more competitive bent may not enjoy the chaos as much as casuals.

With how many people that conplain about perks, chaos shuffle should be added to the game as a game mode permanently. Cause chaos shuffle is def fun, and it caters towards casual players alot because of the random perks. Its a good break from always having to rub meta perks, and going against meta killer perks

It's actually worse than the normal queue because there are actually quite a few people in the event queue just trying to goof off a little bit, which makes for easier wins if you play like a dbag.
It's just an even clearer example of how some people only care that they win, and not how they win (which to me is just as, if not more important).
Which is why I guess a comp queue wouldn't be that popular; a good portion of the people act like they want high level play but will just take the path of least resistance every time.

Chaos Shuffle should be THE permanent casual mode. Like forget 2v8, people have already metaed the hell out of that mode. Chaos Shuffle is where the casuals really are. All they have to do is also randomize items and ban map offerings, and we're golden.

Because not everyone wants to be hit in the face with snowballs or sandbagged by snowmen over and over.

Then dont play the event? These kinda of replies make absolutely no sense other than to say 'I can ruin this mode as well!'

That reply makes perfect sense when you remember the initial question. Why do we have 2 queues? Having only 1 queue would force EVERYONE to play the event.
