Most recent new map
I've had some time to look it over and such and have fallen on my own opinions about it in regards to balance, or if it favors one side or the other too much.
I'd like to hear others on this and see how it looks to the community. If there was a thread already on this, my bad.
It's definitely a bigger map (Seems to be anyway) and the underground tunnel is a nice touch. But overall I feel its slightly too big? Maybe? But I do enjoy it on both survivor and trapper. Found some really good spots. :)

It is fine on both sides, but I still don’t like the fact that the upstairs windows in the tower and main are useless.

I think it is fairly balanced but I really dislike how every map is daytime now, it ruins the horror vibe for me.
You can actually get outside the map at present too which is hilarious, maybe why I suddenly am not seeing the map at all?

I've played on it once as killer and it spawned 4 generators very close to each other at the opposite side of the map from the main building, which the survivors conveniently left as the last 4 generators despite me not playing for it. Ended up an easy victory because there was no way they could get them done, even with the regression event limit.
The two games I've played on as survivor, I escaped so a map where it's important to do gens in a certain order.

I think it is balanced but i think its hard to find gens sometimes. maybe a little big.

Never got a game on it, past the PTB.
Can anyone tell me, is the ground still completely barren and devoid of grass?

Yes… yes it is. Trapper is definitely a tricky one when it comes to that map. Finding spots around corners is that map's best option. Imo

The idea that Trapper is too lazy to actually bury his traps in the snow is really funny.

LOL! I gotta wonder what he's thinking as a charcter. "Man.. why cant I just.. you know… cover it a lil?" lol

I dont get it much but 1 game I won easy as trickster, one I won as survivor vs an artist last night lost vs slinger cause I had the 3 stooges click squad who ofc dont do gens ,they was in killer stream being salty I did gens instead of being a bully and escaped via hatch in which he too banned them and my mod screen shot them threating to come in my stream to harass me too but I had follow only on which nullified their fail sttempt and slam that ban hammer on them. Me and the killer even spoke after we dm each other ggs saying typical altruistic wanna be hero's.
Anyways I like the map and how it gives re and tombraider vibes of an icy abandon work site . Finding hatch possible spawns now will take awhile though and it feels a lil too big but eh red forest and plague map feels bigger imo.

The new map is awful when the killer spawns on the top floor of the main building. It takes a while to actually get out of the building, and then it's just super RNG on which direction to start with to patrol the generators. There really should be some game rules that prevents the killer from spawning there.

What window in the tower?

There's no grass. Just snow.

The free falling elevator full of bodies is my favorite part of the map.

Behavior been cooking with maps lowkey. Four out of the last five maps been pretty well balance (forgotten ruins still unbalance). This map have the perfect amount of cover for stealth Killers to be effective while not be detrimental to movement speed killers. And that's because it's not just random debris/trash scatter.. most of the barrels are neatly lined up together giving you a mini fort like feel for cover as u move around. The maps is filled with random elevation shifts from trenches with pallets to tiny hills loops. It add some interesting dynamic to the killer powers and how to play around them. Lastly main building have a solid window downstairs that still decent even after the breakable door down. Solid Pallets throughout the main building and multiple routes in and out on both floors. Honestly it's probably a top three most balanced map they ever made

Havent been able to get the map as survivor but as killer its pretty easy to win. its probably fine i do like the aesthetic

I haven't spent alot of time on it to have a definitive opinion. I do like this elevator though that drops when you get near. Little things like that that give the map character I like, i just wish games weren't so rushed that you could actually explore. I hope we get the ability to select maps in tutorial mode one day

After you get out of the mine and go upstairs, you find a super trashy window, where a vault is right next to a drop.

Mine too, re and tombraider feeling there.

Balanced, if a little on the large side. Kinda hard to find gens in. Pretty fun, much more so if you're a Killer that wants to hide, or a Surv that likes to hide. None of the loops are too safe or too powerful and no overly powerful loops are placed too close together. There are some strong loops though. Nothing that looks like it interferes with collision too much, line of sight decent. Very fun as Ghostface to lurk around all these corners, stalk from the Main, and come barrelling down at people!
The one issue I see is that the Basement in the Main, should it spawn there, is REALLY and I mean really easy to camp from the upper level.

I’ve only played on it twice, so too early for me to call it. It’s a cake walk for Nurse (like most maps), that much I can tell you.
