I love being slugged.
If you think about it, being slugged is probably the most fun aspect of DBD.
Nobody with UB and the killer goes for slug? Great, i can watch memes on tiktok.
Someone gives up on hook at 5 gens and killer slugs out of pure malice? Oh nice, i wanted to check my mail, not play DBD anyways.
Playing solo Q out and killer goes for knockout build? Perfect, i wanted to see that fried chicken recipe on youtube.
Being slugged while being humped for 5 minutes? Ha! I needed to play candy crush on my phone anyways, thanks killer for remind me!
Being slugged is hands down the most underrated feature in DBD, and anyone who thinks we need a "bleed out" option is against the most possible fun part of DBD. Get a grip guys, i hope they just remove hooks in general and mori, and make slugging the standard way of killing in DBD.

The most fun you have is when you aren't playing?
… Then why do you play?

I think you missed the sarcasm, theyre talking about how they dont get to play because of all of the excessive slugging

It really didn't look like sarcasm, but thank you because I genuinely can't tell, tone's hard on the internet for me.
If they're facing a lot of slugging, why not bring perks to counter it like Unbreakable or items like a Medkit with a Syringe? That's usually what I do when slugging gets really high in my games, though admittedly I don't see much "until bleedout" or super long slugging. Frankly when I AM slugged it's usually at 2 people left for a Mori, which is understandable to me since it's just the Killer looking for their 4k and a cool animation while they do it (plus Moris give extra BP now). I genuinely have no issue with it; Slugging to me is only an issue when you do it at five gens from the word go or you do it JUST to bleed people out for four minutes. Otherwise, not a problem.
I fully respect you might have different feelings though, which is why I am glad BHVR is asking about it on the Survey. We need to once and for all define what slugging is so we can combat the most toxic and frustrating KINDS of slugging, because frankly it is a problem.

Unfortunately, anti-slug perks don't really help in these situations. I had a Wraith yesterday with Ruin/Undying who just slugged everyone, and I happened to bring Soul Guard. The perk helped me pick myself up multiple times, but did nothing to progress the match in our favor. The Killer rode up my bumper the entire time, repeatedly downing me. Teammates were also slugged, so gens couldn't get done while I was repeatedly chased and down.
So yes, slugging does need to be addressed somehow.

The problem with bringing anti-slug perks is that the game for some reason will just stop it. I'm not kidding I was being slugged a lot and then brought an anti-slug build and well suddenly it stopped but the minute I swapped back nope slugging again. I don't know if it's just garbage luck or the game making it an nightmare to just counter a killer

That's the problem with trying to balance optional impactful mechanics with perks. Your previous match has nothing to do with your next one. And your perks have nothing to do with your teammates' perks. On top of all that, you completely waste a perk slot defending against things like tunneling or slugging if they don't happen in the trial.
It's why I roll my eyes when people suggest "run X perk if you're seeing a lot of Y mechanic". It's a completely disingenuous and unserious suggestion. Nobody can sniff their router before a match and perfectly pick the 4 exact perks they need to balance the trial. Tunneled? Go back in time and bring anti-tunnel perks. Camped? Go back in time and bring anti-camp perks. Totems? Go back in time and bring anti-totem perks. Slugged? Go back in time and bring anti-slug perks. Left on hook til struggle? Should have run Kindred, dummy. Having a hard time in chase against a higher tier killer? Lol why don't you have chase perks equipped?
So much of the game's balance revolves around guesswork.
